she was on the cover of a magazine a day ago but she was on the small right hand corner i know they are! theyre just gossip & a lot of stuff that i dnt think is true but that's just my opinion

Usually means to like fall over on your side and "die" ... but in this case it was probably more along the line of passing out from the exciting news

keeled over generally means to die or in a less morbid sense basically faint.

"Ça m'a fait un p'tit velours" It meant Céline was pleased, happy or flattered by something done or said to her or about her. Flattered would be more accurate here I think.

 

"Ça m'a fait un p'tit velours" (It did me a small velvet)

Like you would say it's flattering, it's nice to be told that.

"Velvet", probably because it's soft as velvet.

 

Edit : I remember Céline using that saying in a French interview. The guy asked her what it meant. They don't have that saying in France. The interviewer found the saying very cute if I recall.
