I think they will definately include:

 

-The Power of Love

-It's All Coming Back To Me Now

-Because You Loved Me

-All By Myself

-My Heart Will Go On

-Love Can Move Mountains (of course!)

 

All By Myself?? NO I don't think we'll be hearing this one live again for a loooooooooong time! Why would they include that song? It was nice on the tour, but that's it.

 

I really really really hope TLYM is finally cut! IMO that song shouldn't have made it in AND in the first place!

 

I get that she has to perfom MHWGO and TPOL, but LCMM...seriously???

 

LCMM is in every Celine's show like La isla bonita in Madonna's show except that Madonna "sings" () a different version in each new tour! LCMM is still the same after all those years!

 

from those three songs LCMM is the one I still can enjoy and hear over and over again hahaha

and LCMM isn't the same as it was before! when you listen to LCMM from Live à Olympia and TCTW it's really different! The song is more updated and Céline improvised more... After all those years, LCMM is the only old song that hasn't lost its spark IMO...

As you might know, Then you look at me is my favourite song, and, since she's gonna be performing her hits and Hollywood movie hit songs in her return to the Colloseum at Caesar's Palace, it's now more possible than ever that she finally performs that incredibly powerful song.

I like TLYM, but Céline has better songs to lip sing... Yeah it's one of her biggest hits... in JAPAN!! Sony never released it around the world, Céline never sang Think Twice in AND did she?? I think after 14 years, It's high time to put this song to rest, at least for 10 years...

Immortality - i know it was part of LTAL tour, but it was one of her biggest songs and hasn't been sung since 1999

Miles To Go - i LOVE this song. Would love it to be really acoustic - just Celine and a piano

Je Chanterai - with a choir

TTWII - WE ALL WANT IT! - but they need to have the right arrangement otherwise it doesn't work right live

Prayer - i really love the second half of the song

Aun Existe Amor - love this song, love it in spanish also. Why not include a spanish song instead??

Any song from OH - excluding IDAN obviously!!

 

I'd love (if she were to do another tribute section) Celine to do either:

 

A Beatles medley

Tina Turner medley - this way RDMH won't be at the end

Carpenters medley

Elvis medley - could then include If I Can Dream duet.

 

I totally agree though. She has SOOOOOO many songs to choose from - she should start looking back at her back catalogue cos it is immense!

I agree I don't think ABM Will be included in the new show! And yes, There is 3 versions of the bridge (If we got love, that is strong enough...) the main version, the Vegas version and the Taking chances tour version so yes I understand now!

I don't know about you guys, but I think we may have seen the last of TPOL, LCMM, IDAN, IACBTMN, TLYM (well for the new show in any case). Those are not movie songs, so I doubt they will be included. The other thing is the whole playback thing (and I don't want to start an argument, I'm just saying). It is obvious to me that Celine's team are aware that the fans know that a few of the old songs are playback, otherwise they wouldn't have gone to the trouble to let Celine rerecord them (how and when she rerecord it is not the issue). So my guess is that they might be a bit more careful in the future... I'm 100% sure BYLM and MHWGO will be in the new show though and I don't mind (as long as it is live). Those were Celine's biggest songs...

 

I have to disagree. The movie theme won't take up the whole show, so you can guarantee that the few Celine songs that they include will be the hits. They're not gonna do a load of movie songs and then some completely random Celine songs are they?! As much as I wan't the hits to be gone or put into a nice medley, it's not going to happen.

It would be really cool if they add something like the Star Academy medley she did last year in the new show. That medley worked very well and it included some of her hits of every era since her career started. That was a great move from Rene. Hope they would consider it for the new show...

But RDMH was brought back from the FIY era for Vegas in 2006 and now she can't stop singing it! So just because ABM didn't fit into the A New Day... show doesn't mean it will be forgotten. The fact that they brought it straight back from 1999 for the TCWT tells me it's pretty high on their priority list. After all, it was performed on both FIY and LTAL tours!

 

But I guess there are songs in a similar postition to ABM, that are brought back from the 90s for one tour/show, then dropped. Like Seduces Me, which was performed during the FIY, then A New Day. I think these songs are the most enjoyable to watch, as when people heard ABM and SM again everyone was happy that they had brought them back, instead of fed up like BYLM and MHWGO.

 

And yes I agree with you about TLYM. It was only a hit in Japan. On the TCWT it should have been a special song like Think Twice in the UK, where she just performed it there. There's no way it should have been kept in the setlist for AND and TCWT!

In 2006 Barbra Streisand went on a world tour with a concert consisting 95% of her rarely or EVER live performed songs. I wish Céline would do a concert like that:

I think Céline's concert songlists over the years reflect a lack of respect and confidence in Celine´s fans. We would love nothing more than to hear some OTHER song choices performed live! Showbiz isn't always about giving the audience what you think they want. It's about giving them what they never even knew they wanted...

I don't think she'll perform All by myself in her new show; we're talking about Las Vegas (dry environment). Singing that song 70 nights every year would be the worst thing she could do, she would destroy her voice forever.

No IIC please... she has lots of other beautiful songs, and if she wants to sing about children, My Precious One i'm dying to hear live ;-)

I wish that when they decide to sing some OLD songs, that she sings them in a different way, or unknown OLD songs ;-)

so true, and like claudette said, i think that the new show doesnt have the 'vegas medley' or in a different order, or way she sings it. But not the same it has been the last 6 years

Exactly right? There are so many good songs she could have performed, and would've been an absolute hit!

 

Like Map to My Heart would've made an awesome treasure themed choreography, and a great theme for the graphics!!

Or You and I!!! That would've made an awesome theme for performing!!!

 

Although her classics such as "All by myself" are legendary songs that helped to immortalize her, I think she needs to move on from them Once in a while maybe, but I wouldn't want to see her wear out those great songs.

 

Oh well she's great the way she is!!
