I didn’t plan to make this video. But at the beginning of the year, when very long story short, this idea was thought up by Salla, I knew I had to do it. I’d thought about sending something to Ellen for years, but didn’t know how to go about getting her attention. On her show, Ellen has been on a quest to conquer the world, and wants to know if people around the world watch her show. I would always think, of course they do, I have friends from all over the world who watch her. Then it occurred to me that this might be of interest to Ellen, to know that many of Céline’s fans from around the world know one another, and in a way we have already conquered the world! Then Salla thought to make a mock newscast, as if the news had broken in during Ellen’s show to announce just that. How genius is that? This could really stand out, but if nothing else would be a really fun and creative project to do. We tried to make it appeal to Ellen, adding things such as animals, singing, and of course humor, while at the same time making it touching and full of love.

 

I knew we had to keep this project small, so I picked a number, 25. It has the lucky number 5 in it, and Céline visited 25 countries on her last tour. It was beyond difficult for me to only choose a few fans to take part in this project, because in other projects I’ve always included as many as possible, often putting my sanity at risk to do so! This video is already twice as long as I intended, so I hope all of you know that if this could work with everyone included, I would have included all of you without hesitation. I had to do the next best thing, include as many countries as possible, and each fan would represent the fans within their corner of the world! Even though you are not all in it, you are all represented. When you watch the video, I’m almost certain that you will find yourself represented in their stories.

 

As always, no project worth doing is done alone. Thanks to Salla for her brilliant ideas, Jane for stepping into the role of our newscaster perfectly, Sandy and Antonio for their contributions, and all of my fellow Céline friends who took part with such enthusiasm! This video would not be what it is without all of you! :thumbsup2:

 

I’m not sure what we expect from Ellen when she sees this. We just hope she likes it and may choose to air some of it on her show, hopefully the next time Céline is a guest! If you would like to support our video, which I hope you will because it‘s from all of us, we still need your help!

P.S. There were some ideas that couldn’t fit into this already packed project, so I am considering another project for the premiere in Vegas, to wish Céline & her team the best of luck. I would try to include as many of you as I can, this is for everyone. The only requirement would be that you have a video camera or webcam to be able to film yourself. Biff made me laugh so hard that I got seriously weird looks from around my office, genius!

Thanks to everyone involved in making this, and Jane you were wicked..

 

Its so great to see and hear from fans/members from all around the globe!!

 

I really enjoyed watching it, and hope that it makes it to Ellen :P

I don't see how anyone could be tense with Ellen. She is really friendly and funny. LOVE her. Is it bad I would want to see Ellen scare Celine on the show, ahahaha. I love when she does that to her guests :giggle:
