Sometimes I'll meet someone who likes Celine - and I get so excited that I bombard them with information pertaining to everything Celine. And then - they politely never talk to me about Celine again. :laugh:

 

Anyone relate?

I sometimes wonder if I do...I tend to talk about her a lot on FB and just assume that my non-Celine friends don't like her. Well, one of my good friends last Christmas told me how her friend met Celine, and my friend said "I mean who doesn't like Celine Dion?" I had no idea!!!!! she never talks about her so maybe I have turned her off? :shrug:

 

Though I don't know life without Celine so if I have turned her off...nothing I can do about that! :laugh:

thank God for the social networking sites that i met a bunch of Celine fanatics.. the best topic ever CELINE!!!

i talk a lot about Celine even to those who are not her fans, sometimes i influence her to like her too.. :)

Oh yes! I can totally relate... I had a dvd release party for the TC dvd and it was akward because it seems as though most people don't really know much about Celine past MHWGO :confused: That is ok i still had a blast and will not change my love or opinion about Celine! :in_love:

and my friends is like.. I just ask you how old she is. And I'm like yearh but it's comming now..

Same thing here, I live in Costa Rica now and here it's a bit rare to find people who really like Celine, her music style is not what most of the people are interested down here, so I basically have no one to talk about Celine that when I find one person I started talking about her like crazy and that might be weird for them, I do understand them, but what else can I do!? :sofunny:

Every now and then someone will hear my computer or see a picture and say "OMG I LOVE HER!" and then I start talking to them as if they actually do and get so excited! And then I just find out that what they meant to say is "OMG I LOVE TITANIC." :glare:

Same here! I use to keep my love for Celine or that i was a fan of hers secret :blushing1: .... Oh but not anymore!!! People always ask me how old is Celine? Ect. Or they go i love MHWGO or i didn't know she sung that song! Im like seriously??!!! :rolleyes: Then i play the dvd on repeat for them! :laugh: Alot of people my age are fans of Britney, Christina, Beyonce, Lady Ga Ga Im like you are leaving out the most talented DIVA of all time CELINE DION!! :whistling: They better recognize!! :sofunny:

But they were pretty good about it- actually explained all about TMJ and lockjaw to me so I could understand what happens to her jaw sometimes.

I know I would do that too, if i didn't contain myself! Whenever they mention her, I want to flood them with everything I know and love about her! But i'm good at only giving a couple of facts, show that I like her, not that i'm obsessed :P

My friends don't like Celines music....maybe the odd song but that's about it. They actually ask me about her though, so good friend awards there.

 

I think I tend to scare people anyway...my sarcasm and my love for Celine = people don't so much understand. :giggle: Gutted on them!

My parents/sister used to count the number of "Celine references" I used to make, daily. Yeah, it was that bad. I've learned to tone it down a bit, but they still know how much of a fanatic I am.
