I don't know how many people know who Rajaton is. They're a Finnish group that does music ONLY with their voices - no instruments, nothing! They do instrumental sounds and rhythms with their voices and it's amazing! I only found out about them in the past few months and apparently they're pretty popular and famous in Europe and they're starting to get more fame in the Americas nowadays. The only thing I can think of that more people may know is their song "Butterfly".

Here are a few more to give you a taste of who they are and what their music is like:

You Can't Stop Me

La Dolce Vita

I had the AMAZING privilege of being able to perform with them today in Woodstock, Ontario (Canada)! It was AMAZING. They're INSANELY GOOD. I can't even describe how in awe I was. I screamed and cheered when I was able to sit down and just watch them perform at the end of the concert. They're FANTABULOUS! SPECTACULAR!

Anyone else know who they are? Anyone else a fan? I know I am!

They're AWESOME.

I feel so INCREDIBLY LUCKY to have had to chance to perform with them.

I kept getting mesmerized and almost forgot what I was singing and where I was in the piece of music! LOL

I love Rajaton a lot. They are really amazing and talented people. They received recognition for their talent once again from CASA and they got three CARA Awards. http://www.casa.org/cara2011

I've got nine disc of theirs and I've seen them once in a concert. The concert was "unplugged" which means that they didn't use sound reproduction equipments but they did record the whole concert. They sound even better in real life than on record.

Some of my favourite songs are Dobbin's flowery vale, Armottoman osa and Nouse lauluni.

Great to see other Rajaton fans here.

I went to see their Christmas concert last night. It was so beautiful. They sound as good as always and they had some stunning visual set. They sang every song from their new album Jouluyö. They can make every performance so emotional and I survived whole concert without crying until their second encore, En etsi valtaa loistoa by Sibelius.

This time they have also some Christmas songs in English: Walking in the Air, The Little Drummer Boy and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.

Here is their new music video of Seimen ääressä (By the manger):

Rajaton has a new album out. This time theme is children's songs. I like this album like any other Rajaton album, they are so good. Most of the songs are old but there are few new ones too, such as Minä ratsastan and here is its music video:

. Some songs are written by Jussis father and Mörkö se lähti piiriin by Soilas mother.

I soon will be attending their concert, I'm excited. I hope you know that they are performing in other countries too, such as Germany, Austria, Switcherland, USA and GB. During this year they have been in Slovenia, Australia, Sweden and Canada.
