a Celine Dion new compilation was released in the Arab world

a new 2010 compilation album of Celine featuring an Arabic Artist called Elissa ( 3 times world music awards winner ) who I hate latterly but that is not the case

 

is this legal for this songs to be released not by Sony but by an Arabic company called Alam Almusiqa

I was already mad when people called Elissa the Arabic Celine Dion

and now this

I think its smart. I guess I don't know how popular Elissa is in the Middle East, nor Celine Dion. But if Elissa IS popular, its smart of Sony to pair her with someone famous and similar like Elissa. Most marketers use this technique to introduce a new product into a market.

during interviews,she sang some celine's songs acapella

she copied celine in one of her clips where she wears the same black dress of Miracle project with babies around her

Elissa is know to be a very romantic singer(so is celine image)

My guess is that Alam Almusiqa paid Sony for the rights to use Celine's material. If not, it seems like it would be illegal.
