eszcd30 Posted April 9, 2010 at 07:55 PM Posted April 9, 2010 at 07:55 PM So every year I have to go to training to re-certify as a flight attendant and each year we have a a day with the pilots who are re-training too and each year they do a video of crewmembers who are doing everything wrong and so this year they showed a first officer coming to work "rocking out" on his ipod when he was supposed to be doing work stuff and at one point they showed his ipod and what he was listening to and it was the picture from Celine's All The Way cd single. I was the only one to laugh but I laughed out loud SOO loud. I don't think anyone else knew it was Celine since it's the close up picture but I knew! I totally wanted to cheer... lol I think I'm slightly insulted that it was meant to be cheesy that a first officer was listening to Celine but I don't care... lol Yay Celine!!! lol Quote http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/7210/celinedion1small.jpg

It was quit random actually, I just came in, and they asked me what I was listen to. So I said Celine Dion,( side note they are old Grandmas.) So we start talking about her, it was quit fun. They are fans to, and they are all in there 60s, and 70s. I thought that, was awesome. That is a funny story, by the way. Quote

Obviously we want our pilots to pay attention, but for that to be a bad thing to be listening to her and found as clichey is sad indeed.She does truly get to so many from so many walks of life in many places.Let's be loud and proud in our devotion to her, "near, far, wherever we are."Thanks for sharing, Ellie!
