I´ve known this song for a long time but I didn´t even imagine it had an official video.It sems from around 1991. Do you have any data about the song? Here´s the link:

Billy Newton-Davis (born April 26, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio, United States) is a Canadian R&B, jazz and gospel singer-songwriter.

 

Newton-Davis grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio a suburb of Cleveland. He was one of two lead singers in a local soul band called The Illusions. After working as a singer and dancer on Broadway, he moved to Toronto, Ontario in 1980. His debut album, Love Is a Contact Sport, won the Juno Award for best R&B/soul recording in 1986 and included the hits "Deeper" and "Right Beside You".

The song was featured on Newton-Davis' album Spellbound. "Can't Live with You, Can't Live Without You" was later included on Dion's Japanese maxi-single "Unison" (1991).

 

It was written by Dan Hill who also wrote for Dion "Seduces Me" on her 1996 album Falling into You.

 

The "Can't Live with You, Can't Live Without You" music video received a MuchMusic Video Award for Best Video in 1990.

 

The song was Dion's second commercial English single after her 1985 "Listen to the Magic Man."

 

Céline Dion performed this song during her Unison Tour.

 

I think it's an amazing song, and it's so sad that none of her later 'collection' albums never featured this great song!

I love Can't Live With You, Can't Live Without You. It's very beautiful song from the Unison era, good drums arrangments. I have the Japanese Unison Remix CD, one of my best (and expensive) Japanese releases. But I don't like the videoclip.

The performance is better than the CD.

 

BTW, the guy she performed the duet with (in concert, not the CD) is the same guy who later sued her a few years later for some royalty rights for the song "Dreamin' Of You" and also revealed that she lipped in concerts..

It's a bit of a worry that some people who I would consider big fans haven't ever heard of CLWY,CLWY. It's not even that rare of a song. Makes you wonder what else people haven't heard. We do indeed need this and some of her other lesser known songs on a collection CD.
