celinedion1 Posted February 13, 2010 at 06:37 PM Posted February 13, 2010 at 06:37 PM hey everyone, I see a lot of people getting rows CC through FF and past that but I haven't read anyone getting AA or BB. Are AA and BB available through the VIP packages or are they reserved for someone/some company? Quote
Cheerfuljane Posted February 13, 2010 at 06:57 PM Posted February 13, 2010 at 06:57 PM They keep them for VIPs and whales. Her family usually sat in the last row of front orchestra. During AND some fans got AA on the day of the show. A last minute release. The box office does favour certain fans. I was there first thing in the morning once and asked if I could get a better seat. The lady said "Come back at 6 and I'll know if I can release them" So I went back at 6, waited in line, spoke to her and she said "Sorry, I have nothing."So I turned around and saw a group from the forum waiting in line, so I said hi and asked them where they were all sitting. They said rear orch. When the show started I saw them in the front row and asked how they did that. They said they spoke to the same lady just after I did and she gave them front row seats. Seriously? Am I that ugly or something They'll probably release orch 3 AA and 4 AA closer to the time. Most of the time you need to have an inside connection to get themI know of 2 fans that sat in the front row MANY times because they went so often that they became freinds with insiders. One of whom, was really rude to other fans and treated them as if she owned Celine and no-one else could have access to her. She is on this forum and has made rude remarks here too - about fans going crazy in the audience and acting "so gay". The other one is an angel and deserved it Quote
Dionesque Posted February 13, 2010 at 08:49 PM Posted February 13, 2010 at 08:49 PM Jane, I believe I know who you mean as that "rude" fan and I remember her being banned off the forum somewhere in autumn 2008. Personally she didn't do me any harm, I had just fine relation to her so I won't say a bad word on her. But you may know better as I've never been to AND and never met her in person. The other one - yeah, she's really a sweetheart, I met her several times during the world tour! As for the front rows... Rows BB were deffinitely available in the Diamond VIP Packages. I don't know if they were available for all sections or just for some (for example except Orch4) but I'm 100% they were available. As for your experience at the box office... Well, I really feel for you and agree that it's unfair... I also heard that there's a chance to get good seats right before the show but never thought they are such "selective" at the box office... If they really choose people according to their look/beauty than it's so unfair and discriminative... Edwin Posted February 14, 2010 at 12:13 AM Posted February 14, 2010 at 12:13 AM If they do have better seats on the day of the show, will you pay for a new ticket? Or just trade you (if its same value)? Quote
Cheerfuljane Posted February 14, 2010 at 12:14 AM Posted February 14, 2010 at 12:14 AM I would buy it and give my other one away. I did that a few times at A New Day. Quote
Edwin Posted February 14, 2010 at 12:20 AM Posted February 14, 2010 at 12:20 AM Ahhh oke. Good to know, and kinda what I expected, lol. I had great luck doing same day seats during the tour. Got front and second row at different shows hours before it started. It was stressful, but I heard that tip from someone and it worked out in my favor. I'll try it for "Celine" maybe in a time of the year when there aren't as many tourists in Vegas, whenever that is, lol. Quote
Cheerfuljane Posted February 14, 2010 at 12:44 AM Posted February 14, 2010 at 12:44 AM I'm thinking the same thing. Will try and figure out when the slow days are in Vegas I would really like to be in the front row just once at the colosseum Quote

Or just trade you (if its same value)? This is my experience with upgrading seats. . . at the box office they will only upgrade your seats if you want a different section like if you are in rear orch they can upgrade you to front but if you already have front they won't do it and there should be no cost to upgrade you just trade. However, like said in previous posts, I know fans who go all the time and they have become friends with people at the box office and they can get upgraded to front row even if they already have third row! I also know a lot of people who have gone to the box office right before the show and only then did they make an exception and upgraded in the same section (I guess they figured no one else would buy them since it was so close to show time). I got second & third row through TC presale ticketmaster several times, but never AA. Sounds like sixth row FF is going to be the best we can do this time around... I'm thinking the same thing. Will try and figure out when the slow days are in Vegas I would really like to be in the front row just once at the colosseum You never sat front row at the Colosseum?! I would have thought for sure you would have at some point. Crazy! Well, I hope you get your dream sometime within the next four years! Quote

Well, I did sit in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th during the recording of the DVD so I can't complain But, just once in AA is all I want However... I'm the kind of person that would make a trade with someone in 2nd Mezz if it was the only time they got to see the show I did that a couple of times for AND Very happy I did. Quote

Well even though she is doing fewer shows per year this time you still have three years of shows to work with so hopefully you will get your AA seating this time at some point. The closest I've gotten was BB center row which I can't really complain about. Quote

I'd like to think I would have done the same thing. Everyone should get a chance to be up close to our Céline! Yeah, anywhere in the first five rows is nothing to complain about! But I do hope you get your front row experience this time around... it is amazing to have no one blocking your view. I'm not sure what the stage looks like now... but during A New Day..., she was literally right THERE. During my last trip I sat front row TWO nights in a row, some serious luck going on for me that week, lol. I sat right in front of her during "If I Could", I nearly died. Then I sat front row, center... that was the best show EVER. And she remembered me... God, I hope I get to go back... Quote
Dionesque Posted February 14, 2010 at 11:18 AM Posted February 14, 2010 at 11:18 AM (edited) So generous of you, Jane, wow!! I doubt there are many more people like you, hehe... As for trading tickets for better seats - I've done this for a few times during the world tour, for example in Berlin or in Poland... In Berlin I sold those a bit worse seats (in 4th row) to other fans to them they were still the best they could have got. In Poland I offered the spare ticket to my god-mother - it was actually just in a row behind me so no big different but still I was happy about getting front row for the concert in my homecountry and my god-mom was happy to be able to see her god-daughter's lifetime idol&rolemodel live - I know she would never ever get another chance and even buying a ticket for the Polish show was beyond her financial capacities. Afterwards she was excited from that concert for more weeks, hehe! It also happened to me that I bought tickets last minute - like I did for the concert in Hamburg - and i got front row just a day before the show, from an another fan who's friend couldn't go and he was selling his ticket here in this forum. Actually I didn't planed to go to Hamburg at all but when I got a chance to get front row and even for a less money than the regular ticket prica than, of course, I went for it, hehe! I also dream about seating row AA at least one night in Colosseum although I doubt I'll be able to go to many shows there anyway. In March I will probably attend the first 2 shows and than I hope to go there somewhen later, in 2012/2013 and/or just for the final shows. Unfortunately, if they're choosing people according to their "connections" at the box office or/and according to their beauty - than I'm already out of the game... *sigh*... It's my first trip overseas ever so will be quite amazing for me! I've been to Celine shows when she's toured here but going to one of her Vegas shows has been a huge dream for me. I'm desperate to sit as close as I possibly can, especially because I'll probably only be able to go to one show (two at the most) and I also pray to meet her somehow. I can dream right? haha x Quote
celinedion1 Posted February 14, 2010 at 10:20 PM Author Posted February 14, 2010 at 10:20 PM So far i've ben pretty lucky I guess with seats but I've never got AA. So far I've had 1st Mez AND, 3rd row front orch AND, 5th row front orch AND, 8th row floor TCWT, & now 6th row front orch Celine. Good Job to those of you who've gotten front row before. Quote
Lucie Posted February 15, 2010 at 01:56 PM Posted February 15, 2010 at 01:56 PM I had a front row ticket in September 07 but had to give it up because I couldn't make the trip. It was front row off to the side, not center (I think FORCH3?) It was first row Sept 07 or getting to go to the last 4 shows in December, and it was way worth it to give it up I hope eventually they release closer tickets for the fans!! Quote facebook // twitter

When I saw Cher for my birthday in 2008 I got front row and was no more than 4-5 feet from her. Robert, my partner, even had a mini-chat with her. (Something about growing ba**s. (Don't ask.))
