NEW SHOW TO PREMIERE MARCH 15, 2011 AT THE COLOSSEUM AT CAESARS PALACE

 

Tickets for first 54 performances go on-sale Friday, February 12, 2010

 

February 10, 2010 (LAS VEGAS) - Confirming the buzz that has been circulating for months, Celine Dion announced today that she will be returning to Las Vegas in March 2011 to begin a three year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The brand-new show designed exclusively for The Colosseum will premiere on March 15, 2011 and features 31 musicians, consisting of a full orchestra and band. The show's concept will be one-of-a-kind, centered on capturing the romance of classic Hollywood movies and performed with a stunning visual presentation. Tickets for the first 54 performances from March 15 through August 14, 2011 will go on sale Friday, February 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. PST.

 

"I'm coming back home to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace and I'm very excited about it," said Celine. "With the orchestra and the band we're going to be able to perform our songs like never before. The repertoire is going to be extraordinary...a mix of timeless Hollywood classics, along with all the favorites that my fans like to hear me sing. It's going to be a very beautiful show, and I think we'll be raising the bar higher than we've ever done before. There'll be some truly wonderful moments......I can't wait!"

No, but VIP packages are 99% of the time sold in pairs. And I lost my head for a moment, cause I really can't commit to buying the $250 orchestra seats right now! Maybe in a few months, but not right now.

 

I'd guess VIP starts at $600 and up (per set)

By the way, I find the last couple of weeks totally strange. What the hell is going on? They are selling tickets for a Vegas show, but at the same time Celine says in an article in ''People'' that she is going to try to get pregnant untill it works. What if she gets pregnant? Are they going to push back the shows? I think that would be unfair to fans that pays a shitload of money on plane tickets and all that. I am so confused right now...

Open several tabs and start looking for seats in tab 1, when getting seats go to tab 2 and start it again, etc... till you get the best seats that you like.

Open several tabs and start looking for seats in tab 1, when getting seats go to tab 2 and start it again, etc... till you get the best seats that you like.

 

I thought that wasn't allowed? TicketMaster keeps saying they know if you do that and they'll block you or whatever, so I've never even dared to try that.

I agree with Claudette.... Since December we haven't got any break from Celine but now I find it totally strange... I mean they said clearly they'll be back in Vegas... but so soon? and the plans are SO advanced to sell the tickets? this hustle and bustle doesn't go with Celine...
