February Donator Contest

Hey guys! I believe this is *the* best place for Celine Dion news, discussion, friendship and multimedia. I would like to reward fellow donators for their contributions in 2010.

 

In 2010 I will be running contests each month that will start from the first day of the month to the last day of that month. If you are in the Donator group (Purple or Gold) that month or you have made a one time donation that month you are eligible to win. If you want to be submit your entry, simply post your response in here so I know you are interested. Shipping and handling will be taken care of, so there will be no additional cost to you.

Just to be complete (although most Dutch or Belgian folks does speak English or French:

 

Hoi! Ik geloof erin dat dit de beste plaats is voor nieuws en discussies over Céline Dion, om nieuwe vriendschappen te maken en multimedia te downloaden. Ik wil dan ook mijn mededonateurs belonen voor hun bijdrage in 2010

 

In 2010 zal ik een maandelijkse wedstrijd houden die zal lopen van de eerste tot de laatste dag van de maand. Als je in de donateur groep zit (paars of goud) of je hebt die maand een eenmalige donatie gemaakt dan kan je winnen. Als je wil winnen dan hoe je enkel hier te reageren zodat ik weet dat je interesse hebt. Ook voor de verscheping van het gewonnen item zorgen we zodat er geen bijkomende kosten voor jou zijn!

I'm a bit surprised how few people have entered the contest.

 

I can't see how people can not enter (the donators) unless they allready have it.

got a letter from the post office today. My January prize is at the post office We got a stupid custom office here. They need to open the parcel to see how much it costs worth and then they will decide if I have to pay customs.

 

For me it's worth a LOT a lot, for them it's worth nothing..

 

So I'll get it tomorrow yay

Yeah well they have to make sure that it didn't exceed the gift limit. Stupid law!! But it wont be a problem

Yeah, customs in Europe are often annoying when it comes to overseas mail... I happened to me quite a lot of times while getting packages from USA, Canada, Japan or Taiwan that I had to pick them up at the customs even though they were gifts or purchases of really low value...

 

Particularly I remember the disappointment of the customs officer when she opened on of such packages to me and insida was... "For Keeps" book, haha! I bet she thought there might be an electronic device like a reciever or something as the package was quite heavy. Of course, I've never had to pay any custom fees for gifts/low value purchases. The only exception was when I ordered some electronic devices from Canada which were quite expansive but than I expected to pay for them from the day one.
