It seems like there's a scheduled concert for Celine in Romania this year.

but who knows, maybe they will suprise us, an huge promo tour through Europe for her upcoming dance album

The source of this news is Libertatea, which is a tabloid, not reliable... They probably got the whole thing wrong - they do most of the time. They probably meant to say the movie Celine Through the Eyes of the World could also play in Romanian cinemas.

Well, I have huge doubt about an European Tour but I won't take CelineDion.com as a reliable source when it comes to deny something. Those guys will learn about this kind of stuff at the same time that we will sometimes even after....

The second acrticle states clearly that it's about "Celine Throught te eyes of the world" that will be released in cinemas on 17 february here, in Romania. Now, i'm not sure that's true either, but anyway. Surely no concert.

Céline to sing to the Pope again.

They told me. In fact my niece's friend who just saw an add placed on an airplane while she was taking a bath on an Italian beach.

She got a cold due to the date she was on vacations, later got sick so she can't recall well if the add said Céline gonna sing to the Pope or with him. They both could be singing Webcam tomorrow at the summit of the Egypcian pyramides though.

I might start some petitions to get David Guetta there too. Who's with me?????

Like I said before, Libertatea is the worst kind of tabloid one can get and they're always making mistakes... Their journalist are awful and what they probably meant was that the movie would be showed in Romanian cinemas too. But that's not confirmed either....

no offense, but why the hell would céline do a concert in romania?! that's as random as the one in Athenes! IF she does any promo, my bets are on London, Paris and possibly Berlin, but that's it...

None taken. I'm Romanian, but, if you ask me, I hope she doesn't come to do a concert here for a long time to come, because Romanian companies are totally unable to set up a concert properly and there's no proper arena for concert. Elton John is going to sing in front of the Parliament building, this huge square, awful for sonorization (got tickets though ). Eric Clapton is going to perform in this small rugby arena and AC/DC also in that square... They're working on the National Stadium now, to make it have some 80,000 seats and proper... everything, but that'll take some more years....

For example, Madonna's concert last year was a total disaster because of bad location for a concert and bad management overall.

So I'd much rather go see Celine in a big, developed city than have her come here, though the costs on my part are way bigger.

Anyways, I'm with you guessing these gossips are just about the movie, not a concert.

I mean, I would have nothing against a concert in Romania but just so out of the blue, only in Romania? That sounds weird.

And anyway, someone contributed from Chicago that they asked Céline and she told she won't come to Europe any soon.

 

So I guess this ends all those discussions and speculations. Period.

 

Still don't give up hope that she'll come to Europe again - and not only to Paris or London - in some near future - like in one year or so...
