It's a dig at the people who think those ribbons are financially supporting the troops, yet the money is going to the people in China, who make them. If you really want to send them support, do it in the form of a check, not a ribbon on your car. Those don't make a difference to the soldiers. Quote

I agree with LVCeline's interpretation of the public "supporters" really just supporting the makers of the ribbons instead of directly donating the money towards the troops. That's really ironic. I got offended by that comment, being made from another forum and left. Personally i think it's an attack to our military, but I can't see the irony in it. Thank you Quote
