Working On A Dream is OK...but it's defintley, in my opinion, the weakest album Springsteen put out. I do like it though...but his album Magic from 2007 is way better. If you like Working On A Dream I'd suggest checking out Magic...then all the rest of his stuff :) ...he has a great body of work!...

I can't say I'm a fan but I've got a few of his albums and I absolutely love many of his songs. I, too, like many songs on The Rising. Some of my very favourite Bruce songs are Human Touch, Better Days, Streets Of Philadelphia, Blood Brothers, If I Should Fall Behind, Living Proof, Roll Of The Dice, Real World and Land Of Hope And Dreams.

This is an old topic but I can't help posting here after seeing The Boss and The E Street Band live in Helsinki on Tuesday. It was my very first Bruce concert and I certainly hope it won't be the last! I think Bruce is an amazing live performer with a lot of energy and charisma. I also find him kinda hot. :msn-wink: The only negative thing I have to say about the gig is the fact that it ended way too soon: it was the longest concert I've attended (4 hours) but I felt like it was the shortest one. :o I also hate Bruce for leaving his hotel pretty late and then playing a pre-show acoustic set on stage ( :o :in_love: ) before me and my friend got to the stadium. :giggle: I also think they should've played Jungleland :in_love: (and 100 other songs  ). All the songs sounded amazing live and the biggest highlights for me were (in no particular order) Darlington County, Glory Days, Light Of Day ( :whee: ), Born In The USA, Dancing In The Dark, Wrecking Ball and Land Of Hope And Dreams.

I spent countless hours outside of Bruce's hotel during three days and spotted six members of the ESB, which was cool. However, the most amazing and thrilling moments for me were when I got close to Bruce twice. :stretcher: The first time I almost got his autograph and the second time he actually signed my 18 Tracks album cover!!! :whee:

I've been listening to Bruce on and off for many years but I never really started understanding him and his genius as a songwriter until very recently. Now I don't think the way I experience music will ever be the same again. I just might be on my way to becoming a massive fan of The Boss. Now I'm hoping the rumours about Bruce touring Europe again next year turn out to be true! The next time I see him live I'll be close to the stage with a huge pile of request signs with me. :D
