The Translation Topic

There's always little snippets of language here and there that seem completely foreign to me or perhaps slang is used and it makes it impossible for Bebelfish to do its "awesome" translation job. I thought I'd start a topic for people to rely on others here on the forum (seeing as it is an international forum) to help them translate short snippets or a few sentences to better make sense of them.

 

(I'm not sure if a topic like this exists already or not, if it does, feel free to remove this.)

 

I have been recieving a bunch of feedback form submissions from clients of a business I am currently helping out with and some of the submissions are in languages which, frankly, don't seem to make any sense to me lol. I was hoping a few of you language-savvy people could give me a hand in filling me in on what language this is and translating it into English.

 

Here's the text:

i stuck the sentence into Google and from what i can tell, i think its Greek written in the normal alphabets instead of Greek alphabets

What should those who live from hands to mouth do amid economic difficulty?

To those who live from hands to mouth, the best way of living in time of financial tension is to change the way of consumption.

 

Most people usually do consume artificial value. In other words, owning luxurious cars means high social status. This is called artificial value.

 

Having expensive outfits shows sumptuous life. Drinking high-end wine offers splendid taste. All these actions are considered artificial value-based consumptions.

 

We are enslaved by illusion. We are not benefiting the real value of what we consume.

 

If we still consume the artificial value of our major Four Requisites, our high monthly salary will never be enough.

 

On the other hands, if we consumed the real value, we could use Japanese, second or even third-hand sedans. Clothes are only for covering our private parts and offer polite image in public areas. As a result, why don’t use just low-price costumes?

 

On the same matter, when we consider that mobile phones are merely for contacting with friends or important persons, only old cell phones can suit us well.

 

We should change our aspect of consumption by focusing on the real value instead of artificial ones such as brand name goods.

 

In addition, we do not have to care other people that much.

 

Although they often keep eyes on you, they will ignore you in a few minutes later.

 

In conclusion, do not be worried about society too much. If we consume the real value, we will be more ourselves.
