Jonas Brothers dreaming about a duet with Celine

She can't release a duet album. She has a vegas show to prepare, and she needs new material...Unless she's gonna do like she did before, that is ditch all her new material, do the holy trilogy of Power of Love, because You loved me, etc...and throw in a dozen of covers.

I like some of her duets, depends on who she sings with. Like on Sur Les Plaines I didn't like her duet with Garou his voice just sounded so deep and scratchy and rough to me, I loved her duets with Zachary Richard though and Mes Aiuex and of course the Dion family. Tell him I liked her parts but Barbra I'm just not a huge fan of her.

 

 

I think that's exactly why so many like his voice, myself included

I think with all these relatively very popular and "it" artists, Celine can surely garner some more teenagers and people who listen to "cool" music into her fold.

I think doing a duet with the Jonas Brothers would like Celine wants to be successful again at all costs even if she had to sing with teen-age boys who don't have HALF the talent she has.

 

BTW, with Taking Chances, Celine Dion charted # 3 on the album chart which is a great position, so basically, she does not need duets to get her album to the top 5 on the billboard.

 

Plus, I don't know why people tend to shadow Celine's career a lot: MANY singers like Whitney Houston or Leona Lewis still chart on the top having their head at the same place and does not use explicit sexual songs to sell out their album; so what is with Celine that is unfitting in this position?

 

Finally, when she comes back from her hiatus, everybody wants to hear her voice; we're not interested in other singers on the record of Celine. Plus, we had our share of wonderful classic duets on LTAL; why ask for more?

 

 

Firstly, a duet doesn't need to be demeaning to her talent. Everything is a business and if duetting with the JBros would make her gain more audience, why not?

 

Secondly, radio and the press were never kind and accommodating to Celine as they were to Whitney/Mariah/Leona and who not. They criticized her most of the time and they may continue to do so for unknown reasons

The media has ALWAYS criticised Celine's every move since her top-selling albums and now still. However, in the 90s, despite critics, Celine was selling tons of albums and critics were also there. Nowadays, critics are shadowiing her career because her albums aren't high quality enough to sell as good as her 90s albums. Celine has to focus on doing quality material: that's the ANSWER. She does not have to go search for X or Y singer to sing with her. People are going to propose soon in this topic a duet Celine and Britney so that Celine be successful once again for EXAMPLE.

 

I mean she has to try to FoCuS on choosing the right song and the RiGhT beat and do a full theme album that is cohesive!! Not an album like TC that has no head or tail.

 

Her D'elles was a gr8t album for example that has a good base and that is colorful.
