I can't wait til my niece is old enough to actually be able to pay attention and listen to music, she's only eleven months old. I can't wait to introduce her to Celine's music. I'm gonna make that child a Celine fan if it kills me :laughing:

 

 

11 months is old enough! I have two adopted sisters, the first one was 10 months when i started playing Celine's music to her, and the other was a few months old when I would sing "My Love" to her. I noticed when she would cry... I would play "My Love" or sing it, then she would stop crying. Now both of them love "My Love". Unfortunately, I think it's about the only Celine song they like lol. They are kind of picky and I haven't been able to introduce them to much of her music yet, but at least they can identify her in pictures! :wub:

you're refering to A New Day DVD featurette BYLM a tribute to fans. There was a lady from UK she named her daughter after Celine and Celine signed her birth certificate for her. Celine was very touched she said something like "people come to see my show 80 times but when they name their baby after me...that's true love" or something like that ...

Aww! She's adorable! I could get along with her, we already have a lot in common ;)

My mother started me on Celine but I never really understood how awesome Celine was until I got older :)

The future generation. ^_^ It's a shame but when she's all grown up, Celine will be considered an oldie like Carole King and Carly Simon are today.

Celine can actually sing. those people cant and carly simon has the biggest teeth and lips i ever seen. :w00t:

 

and MOE, actually she wasnt hanging on, if you heard the original you would know that the note was even longer. :yes:

 

Maybe the recording of the song had a longer note; however, if you see her at the end of this video, Celine is SHAKING/Having a stroke because of that note; She was obviously trying her best, but I'm against people taking the pain in just to get a note out of their mouth. She was basically TREMBLING and SHAKING; she could have ended the note at some point without stretching it to match or out-match the original recording. If you can do it flawlessly without having to undergo PAIN to deliver a note, well do it.But don't try to put ur health at risk to put out a great note out there.

I don't know if I've ever read a more dramatic post about something so insignificant. I happened to read it before I watched it and half expected her head to explode after the note, but in reality she doesn't look like she had any problem with it at all. It was like 3 seconds first of all, not 45 minutes like you make it out to be. And her arm was shaking but it wasn't because it took so much effort to sing a note. She clearly wasn't in pain, nor was it a health risk to sing that note. I mean come on, really? If you thought that note was bad, dare I ask what you thought about her All By Myself Note.

She is a very good kid and i love how she LOVES Celine Dion...we are in the car and SHE tells Me to play Celine Dion....lol..her new saying is "Its Celine Dion Time" lol soo cute

How cute! I think Céilne is a really good role model for kids and not enough young people appreciate her talent. It's nice to know that someone young knows about her. I wish I would have discovered her at that age. Encourage her because once she goes to school, people will probably start laughing at her and saying really mean things, I go through it everyday.
