I prefer "A cause" between the two. Then again that's probably 'coz I'm gay and love upbeat, dance music. LOL Edited by CelineFan10

I like OSEAC more than AC, but that's a great version too! but I think that the radio mix of A Cause is better than the album version

Absolutely! and those lyrics are from Françoise Dorin. And yes they are basically the same.

But the melody is completely different for both songs. They decided to do two different music for those Dorin's lyrics on D'Elles. One is uptempo "À cause" and the composer is Jacques Vénéruso and the other one "On s'est aimé à cause" is one of the most beautiful ballad of the album imo  and the music composers are Marc Dupré and Jean-François Brault.

I Never new that, that is new thanks for the info. I always thought they were different songs all together.

Yeah, this song has a special story. Those Françoise Dorin's lyrics(the woman who had already did the lyrics for "S'il n'en restait qu'une") inspired so many composers on the album that they decided to compose two different music for it. :) One of which has been co-composed by René's son-in-law Marc Dupré as many know.
