Adam Lambert’s Time For Miracles Birthed Straight From Celine Dion’s Womb

Yesterday, Adam Lambert’s new single, “Time For Miracles”, hit the internet, to the satisfaction of his legions of crazed fans. But how did it sound? How can one person accurately describe a single so many people have been waiting for for so long?

 

It was like Celine Dion pushing Steve Tyler out of her birth canal. And it continues the American Idol tradition of giving people who win the show incredibly boring songs to sing over, in the hope that people will not notice, and buy anyway. Basically, it’s verse, chorus, verse, bridge, SUPER OVERBLOWN CHORUS WITH SCREAMING. To the epic tune of buildings falling over. Apparently, Rolland Emmerich wants to recreate every nuance of Armageddon. The movie, not the event. Although we may be fast approaching the event.

 

For cripes sake, people have been making fun of Bob Dylan’s Christmas album for the last two weeks, but the man knew you didn’t need a super-polished voice complete with legions of strings in the background to move people emotionally. All you need are words that resonate and a beat-up guitar. Not comparing Adam Lambert to Bob Dylan, but it looks like he’ll be in a long line of pop stars with really pretty voices that also manage to be really boring.

 

We’re looking at you, Celine Dion.

That's a funny article, I loved Adam on Idol, so am looking forward to hearing his new material. It's kind of insulting to Celine, yet also kinda flattering!

Oh well, a change from the usual style of dissing we are used to. Wonder if this is a song Celine could have sung, must go and search it out.....

Celine's songs aren't boring! We are talking about powerful and touching ballads! C'mon! I think that the only problem is that the one who wrote this article doesn't feel anything when he listens to Celine's music.

The song is amazing, the guy is amazing. Adam is basically a male version of Celine with a lot more distortion used and a lot more mixing his chest and head voice.

Not gonna watch the movie, though. The more people believe it'll happen the better our chances of dying. I prefer to believe in a spiritual leap at that time...

 

Would love to hear something this massive from Celine on her next album!

Thanks for the youtube link celinesounds, awesome performance from Adam, hopefully this will bring him center stage to a global audience. He deserves it. Incredible effects in this movie, if this is what the end of the world is going to be like then we're in trouble! Looking forward to munching popcorn through this one.

i listened to some of the song, it's kindda boring. I don't see how ppl could compare to Celine's song? Unless I have just completely fell into my own little Celine bubble, so anything she sings is awesome LOL...Now that i think of it, if Celine did sing this song I'm sure I would love it hahahaha
