Gorgeous Posted October 18, 2009 at 05:22 PM Posted October 18, 2009 at 05:22 PM The music composer of the song "On s'est aimé a cause" Jean-Francois Breau, sing this song on his new album with his girlfriend, the singer Marie-Eve Janvier! We can listen the song here; http://www.canoe.com/divertissement/musiqu...424376-jdq.html Marie-Eve talk about the song; On s’est aimé à cause«Jean-François ne voulait pas inclure cette chanson-là sur le disque. Il n’est pas le genre à se vanter et dire: "J’ai écrit cette chanson-là pour Céline Dion." Mais moi, je suis une fan de cette chanson. Nous l’avons fait à notre manière.» Quote Pascal http://www.poplineonline.com/ban.gif

drove all night Posted October 18, 2009 at 07:08 PM Posted October 18, 2009 at 07:08 PM with all due respect: no one can sing the song like "our girl"! Quote
Lou555 Posted October 18, 2009 at 08:19 PM Posted October 18, 2009 at 08:19 PM (edited) Jean-François Breau is not the only composer of this music for Céline, he did it with Marc Dupré. Source : http://www.cyberpresse.ca/la-voix-de-lest/...er-loreille.php Short translation :Covers are very popular in Québec these days says JF Breau who has directed their album. The music of OSAAC has been composed by Marc Dupré and Jean-François. It's always a risky business to cover one of Céline's songs but this duet formula gives another color to the piece they say. I find weird that they would cover this so soon. But this song is very much loved, it was covered on this year Star Académie by one of the women finalist. It is Céline's third single here for "D'Elles" and the song is played on the radio very often. I agree with you completely drove all night! No one compares to our girl! browseceline Posted October 19, 2009 at 09:43 AM Posted October 19, 2009 at 09:43 AM this is one of my favorite songs on the D'Elles album. This version is not that bad but Celine's version is so much better in my opinion. It is just Celine's voice that is missing! Celine's has a special voice and they cannot come even close to her with this version. And apart from that - the arrangement on D'Elles is also so much better and works better too. browseceline Posted October 19, 2009 at 09:45 AM Posted October 19, 2009 at 09:45 AM it is just like Meatloaf suddenly singing It's All Coming Back To me Now with some other singer.. it just lacks something.. esspecially power!
