tahitiCELINEfan Posted October 14, 2009 at 05:28 AM Posted October 14, 2009 at 05:28 AM Hi there, I'm working on that subject for a debate, what's your definition? Quote MY TAKING CHANCES TOUR:202 concert dates, and counting!A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES AND WONDERFUL FRIENDSHIPSMISS YOU CELINE!
Jacqui Posted October 14, 2009 at 08:41 AM Posted October 14, 2009 at 08:41 AM I had this discussion with a friend recently. I think it's very hard to define because there are so many types of love and ways of loving. She told me that love is an action, a choice we make. To treat someone with love, no matter what, and the feelings only come later. To me, that's a nice theory, but it doesn't quite work in my life. To me, that's kindness, faith, and obligation. Love is something different.Love is...family, friends. The people I'd do anything for. The ones who make you feel like good exists in the world, and like Heaven could be real. The ones you'd give your life to. Is that the kind of answer you're looking for, or am I way off track here? Quote
destin139 Posted October 14, 2009 at 05:59 PM Posted October 14, 2009 at 05:59 PM for me, and this is a very personal thing and my opinion - please dont bash me(!), Jesus is the only love with a big L because his love for us is a perfect love. Our love is tainted in some way because we are not perfect human beings.Just my thoughts Quote http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww171/destin139/Celine2.jpg

Lian Posted October 14, 2009 at 07:53 PM Posted October 14, 2009 at 07:53 PM Well, I never believed in love until I met my boyfriend a year and a half ago.. It completely changed my opinion about love. Now I see it as the thing that colors your life, and without love you live in a black-and-white scenery. Off course, there are different sorts of love, but I mean like the romantic thing Finding the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Finding a person who changes your dreams. First I was quite ambitious, now all I want is to grow old with him. It changes your perspective. Dunno if I'm being clear, but anyway..
