The older she gets, the sexier she looks. Besides the hair in the FIY tour, what else does everyone like about it? She's pretty and all, but I don't like the hair. That's why I like the after RC era the best. Quote

Her look was fun and more spunky...whereas now she is in 'mom' mode - and a good mom mode, mind you. Her music was more 'fun' with a good mix of both the serious ballads and fun 'rock you out' stuff. She was a little more 'fresh'. It's also because it was the rising of her career, and that's when many people really started to discover her - before the Titanic extravaganza - and that will stick in peoples' minds. She was slightly less commercial, though still highly so, but I feel that technically, musically, and freedom-wise, the FIY era is appealing. The FIY tour was very fun as well. I think each person would have a different opinion of which era they like the best. I prefer the ATW era for her voice and the FIY era for her tour setlist. But hey, each to his/her own!! Quote

Her songs (fun, both pop and edgy), voice was in top vocal shape, and it also have to do with her not being so commerical like VanMerlin said. You could talk about Celine without worrying that someone's going to "attack" you. If we could only go back in time! She wasn't in-your-face all the time like she was with MHWGO/the LTAL album (and the FIY album and it's songs were far superior), yet she was around enough so that fans knew when to watch her. As for the FIY tour, it had the best mix of classic hits and new material (IMO the LTAL tour didn't focus on some past hits enough), and the costumes were also better than on the LTAL tour. Quote

Don't get me wrong, I think her voice is spectacular nowadays too. But I guess the FIY era is special for me because FIY was the first Celine album I ever heard and the songs on that album became special to me. So everytime I hear or watch a performance from that era it brings me back good memories. And at that time Celine used to sing the song IACBTMN (one of my favorites) more often. Another era that I think was one of the best was the ANDHC one. This album contains such amazing songs and Celine made some wonderful live performances at that time (including the Divas Las Vegas show). But Celine is always great. :-) See Ya!Rodrigo.
