I remember seing this (whole) episode a year ago or so, and that woman is insane. I don't blame the kid. No, you shouldn't hit your mother (or anyone), but the mother should aslo NOT abuse her son. I hope they've taken him away from her and placed him in a more loving home. He should not have to pay for his mother's grief.

That's insane! First of all, unless that kid is some type of brilliant sociopath, or a better actor than Johnny Depp then I believe him, for the most part, about her saying she hates him and such. Of course, right when he slapped her, things would have been DONE if I were her. If I ever did that to my mom, she would have wacked me across the face, and pulled my up by the arm and beat my #ss til it was red, and I would have deserved it. I am for spankings, if it calls for it. There is a difference between abuse and spankings for sure, of course thats for another discussion haha. Now, about that mom being crazy, I believe it. Kids from abusive homes usually are, in some way, abusive to their own children.
