thanks so much for this. I love dion a l'olympia, album, especially the performance of elle. The lyrics are beautiful. Years ago in high school i translated the lyrics, and its so celver how elle has been used as the start and end of each verse. especially the line 'qui déplier ses ailes' where ailes/elle are used in double reference.

 

The whole song has been made with the double reference. Just like "Chopin la trouvait b...elle (belle)"

 

I wonder where did she found the idea to sing that song 10 years later. Maybe for the next tour we'll have In his Touch, Reveal, etc...

 

 

Yeh i know, thats my fave part though :-) because in all other double references, it was 'elle' that was reference, but i found ailes clever because it sounds the same, but is spelt different
