Titom Posted September 18, 2009 at 05:08 PM Posted September 18, 2009 at 05:08 PM Remember the CD of "Les 500 choristes avec" back in 2005/2006. Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore was remixed with the voices of those chorus-singers. But the version of the song was definitly not the same that the one on D'Eux. In addition, she didn't re-record the song in 2005 so the only explanation is that they used a demo of PQTME recorded back in 1994/1995 but never published (cuz the perfect track was on the cd). I try to make it clear Quote
Davey84 Posted September 18, 2009 at 05:24 PM Posted September 18, 2009 at 05:24 PM oh blah! I forgot about that one! I didn't think it was that good... it was great to hear some different vocals of céline, but the song itself... oh well it's better than nothing! Javito Posted September 18, 2009 at 05:43 PM Posted September 18, 2009 at 05:43 PM If Chabby is talking about demos of the songs, it will be worth to have this edition surely I only hope he's really talking about unreleased songs, no matter if we already know the songs, as long as they are versions that we have never heard Quote "Hush, now... SuperLove4Celine Posted September 19, 2009 at 03:15 PM Posted September 19, 2009 at 03:15 PM I wonder if the new, but not new songs that were mentioned will be compilation like songs and duets like "Quand on s'aime." They were technically released already (not new), but not on an official Celine release ("new"). Hmmmmm.... They wouldn't be JJG songs, but I wouldn't put it past Sony to do something like this. chadiedls Posted September 27, 2009 at 06:47 AM Posted September 27, 2009 at 06:47 AM Well, someone working for Sony whom I know told me that the DVD will include a Benezra special on it - no more details yet. I looked it up - as I only knew about Cloutier special to "D'eux" album and as for Sonia Benezra, I only knew about some later specials but than I found out there was also one for "D'eux", you can even see some excerpts of it on YouTube, I think. So eventually it's just my own conclusion but I really hope that it's true! Wow,that's Great! I've never heard this TV Special ! I'll buy it anyhow. Quote

J-Man Posted October 9, 2009 at 08:27 AM Posted October 9, 2009 at 08:27 AM That's great! Thanks for posting. Here's a quick translation to English: On 15 March 2010 will come the French album the best selling history of the disc: Celine Dion "D'Eux". To date, it has reached the colossal figure of over 4,225,000 units sold. To celebrate a little early this anniversary, Legacy France has decided to offer many Celine fans a Legacy Edition of this masterpiece of the French variety. This edition includes: - 1CD with original album versions + 3 Demo out personal archives of Jean Jacques Goldman (Pour que tu M'aimes encore, J'Irai où tu iras, Le Ballet) PBO + 2 versions of "Pour Que Tu M'aimes" and "Vole". - 1 Opendisc Access to uncover unpublished photographs of the sessions "cover" and listen to an alternate version of "J'attendais" with texts (lyrics?) by JJG different version of the album. - 1 DVD of a TV show in 1995 (Sonia Benezra Special Sunday) distributed exclusively in Quebec where Celine interprets live "Je Sais Pas", "Les Derniers seront les premiers", "J'Irai où tu iras" in duet with JJ Goldman with, and Pour que que Tu M'aimes encore. The whole interspersed with interviews of the period with Jean Jacques Goldman + 4 clips from the album: "Pour que tu m'aimes encore", "Je Sais Pas", "J'attendais" and "Les Derniers seront les premiers" A booklet of 40 pages in a superb double digipack with: - Two previously unpublished texts by Jean Jacques Goldman, one of 1995 to launch the album, the other he has kindly done specially for this Legacy Edition. - The unpublished photographs of the sessions for the cover. - A reproduction of the text manuscript of JJG Pour Que Tu M'aimes and other things ... " If all of this makes it, this is going to be an incredible release. I reckon some or all of these demo's could be Jean Jacques singing though, as it is likely he would have recorded all the demo's himself. Either way, can't wait for this one!A 40 page booklet, wow! Let's hope Legacy continue in this vein with Celine's other albums. Well done to them Quote http://www.powerofthemusic.com/other/FORUMSIG1.png

Javito Posted October 9, 2009 at 09:04 AM Posted October 9, 2009 at 09:04 AM (edited) Finally!! If all these is true, it's going to be her first worthy rerelease! Those are the kind of contents we would liked to see in the ANDHC "collectors" edition! (Again, its Sony Music FRANCE who cares and knows how to do their work! ) And, I just hope the double digipak is a real one with plastic trays and not the "eco friendly package" they've been using with past rereleases....
