westwing Posted August 15, 2009 at 10:26 PM Posted August 15, 2009 at 10:26 PM The Swedish music producer Andreas Carlsson has written his auto-biography "Live to win - the songs that wrote my life", and it will be published in September 2009, at least in Sweden. He of course co-wrote and produced the songs "The greatest reward", "That's the way it is", "I'm alive" and "Coulda Woulda Shoulda" for Celine, and for other artists he co-wrote and produced: "It's gonna be me", "Bye bye bye" ('N Sync), "Born to make you happy" (B Spears), "I want it that way" (Backstreet Boys), "When you're looking like that" (Westlife). Etc etc etc... In his book he will reportedly be discribing working with all the various artists and how they influenced his career and songwriting, but he has in previous interviews said the the most significant song he has written was "I'm alive" because of its impact on the music scene, in Vegas as well as its use in commercials. He has also described Celine as extremely professional, talented, kind and humble (and not arrogant as certain other "big-name" artists). Andreas Carlsson lives in the US but has for a few seasons now been one of the (tough but fair) judges on the Swedish edition of the TV-show "American Idol", along with Anders Bagge, who has of course also written and produced for Celine on several occasions, most recently "A song for you" on "Taking chances". All (successful) roads lead to Celine! Quote
