Let's share all the news about this new movie! Filming in NY will begin at the end august so we'll have pics very soon!!

The new movie will be on theaters on the 28th of may 2010 :clap:

 

But first bad news for this new movie:

 

Sex and the City fans will be disappointed to learn that the sequel to the movie has been delayed.

 

Filming in New York has already been pushed back until the end of August and now sources claim plans to film in Dubai have upset the government of the strict Muslim nation. A source tells Us Weekly, “The UAE authorities aren’t keen on the title because of the word ’sex’.”

 

Good news is that during the delay the producers of the movie will be holding an open casting call for extras on August 4th.

 

If you look like any of the following: “international types,” professional soccer players, fashion models, urban club goers, gays and lesbians, celebrity types, upscale socialites then Sex and the City bosses want you!

I'm so excited about this!! there was a feature on TV here yesterday, talking about if this really is a good time for "that kind of movie" or if they will try and incorporate the financial situation in some way (they mentioned the fact that Carrie spent $40,000 on shoes. Well, they said 4000 but the SATC fans know better )

well.. the flat IS part of Carrie.. but 'old aparment' = no dream closet.. so I don't know what I want.. hmmm

I guess I would prefer that they keep the Carrie's flat because as you said it's a part of her!

 

In France, today, they show some pictures of the casting which has begun in NY!! here it is the project has begun!!

Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham would have been approched by producers to be in the second movie!!! What do you think???

 

Katie Holmes why not but Victoria Bechkam definitely not!She was already a guest star in Ugly Betty and it was not very good! I think she has no talent even for an apparition...

 

Jennifer Hudson is ready to take her role back! She would have told to producers that she would be happy to be back in the second movie and that her character, Louise, could have moved back to NY instead of staying in St Louis after her wedding.

 

She was great in the first movie so why not!

 

Wait & see to know if all those rumors are true or not!

If I could choose I wouldn't any of those.. wasn't a fan of jennifer's character

Didn't know it was to be shot in Dubai.They have Ramadan in september so not sure if this will effect filming too?

I don't think all those 'extra' characters are needed! the 4 girls plus entourage is enough!!

What kind of adventures would you like to see The Girls in? And why Dubai? Adoption? Vacation? Move?

I don't know, vacation maybe? I don't see Carrie and Big having kids.. godparents to Charlottes and Mirandas kids maybe, but none of their own.. how about you?

 

 

 

 

+ I don't think there's going to be a whole lot of spending in this one, I mean they must take the current situation into consideration?

I think so because in the movie she made this so beautiful photoshoot for Vogue!!

 

And I'd like the movie to be in NY because this city is the fifth character so it's important!! I don't know why they wanted to do in Dubai! maybe holidays or work trip for one of the girls!

I guess that Dubai is just a holiday.... or Big has to move there for work and Carrie is totally unhappy there (or doesn't want to come with) but that would be season 6 all over again!
