Fact she told in her biography, the first concert in Sherbrooke in 1990, she lost totally her voice. Her voice was so bad that he body shaking during the first song. When she started the second, in the middle of the song, it's have a solo guitar, she want out backstage and she started to cry a lot, ashamed to she wasn't capable to sing to all the peoples to paying to her Celine singing. Rene took on the stage to explain the situation and he rassured all the fans to all was refund.

 

She consult a doctor in Montreal to suggest operation for her voice, but she and Rene wasn't think it's was a good solution, so the two took a second consultation to a another doctor: William Gould two months later in New York, to he suggest a another alternative of the operation: stop talking or whispering for three weeks if she wanted her voice recovering, who she accepted without hesitation.

It looks like one of the later 1991 concerts, based on her hair and clothes (maybe Halifax?). I have no idea where the video came from though. It's pretty high quality but the audio is garbage for some reason.

I thought someone was probably recording the screen in the concert hall

Which makes me wonder how they achieved such good quality back in 1991.

Yes she did plenty of shows in the summer of 1990 with a different setlist, such as including I'm Loving Every Moment With You and If We Could Start Over. Wikipedia doesn't list the concerts she gave between May and August 1991 either, the dates were listed on this thread.

The Celine Dion Performances Instagram account posted something really interesting last year. Apparently Céline performed an acoustic medley at one of the shows in Quebec in 1991 including Fais ce que tu voudras. I don’t know if somebody has the scan with the concert review. It would be a dream to watch that one one day.

Fais ce que tu voudras is one of her best 80s songs! Would love to watch that too!

Indeed, plus they mentioned something about If You Could See Me Now performed one night during the 92 tour. Makes sense because ages ago I saw a promo CD on eBay with a live version of the song.

Are you sure it was a live version of IOYCSMN? I only know the Celine Dion album sampler, which has the album version of the song:

Is it the Massey Hall concert? It was March 1993. I remember reading the review of that concert they posted and it mentioned If You Could See Me Now among others. I posted the review on the 1992 tour thread i think.

Yes! Completely sure. It was a promotional CD from a North American radio station. It appeared on eBay, can’t remember exactly when (I’d say around 2017) but it was quickly bought.

The disc featured audio from a promo radio performance from 1992. I believe there’s a professional clip somewhere of Céline signing If You Asked Me To on that concert, she’s wearing headphones while singing and I think she was wearing a blue jacket.

Wish I did but nope. This is probably one of the rarest Céline items I’ve ever seen along with the tapes that were sold on eBay back in 2011. For those who don’t know / remember about this, these tapes included an early version of Declaration of love sung by Celine and her cover of The Winner Takes It All by ABBA.

Rumor has it it was René who ultimately bought the tapes.

Yeah, recently it was discovered that she ever sang If You Could See Me Now, Little Bit Of Love, and Make You Happy live. I won’t be shocked if someday we discover that she ever did songs from TCOML we never knew she sang live like Next Plane Out or Love Doesn’t Ask Why.
