I'm obsessed with broadway. Idina Menzel is my hero.

Wicked is by far my favorite musical, i recently saw Jersey Boys, which blew my mind.

I've never seen a play or musical actually on Broadway seeing I'm in the Midwest. It's always been on a North American tour. So far this year I've seen Wicked and the Mamma Mia! tours.

I gotta say I Idina too! I loved her from Rent! Rent! Rent! I plan on seeing Wicked, Rent and The Lion King in the coming months.

I saw "The Lion King" on Broadway a couple years back. Emotional and extraordinary!

 

Other productions that I've seen on-tour or through special runs in select cities were:

• "Chicago"

• "Wicked"

• "The Phantom of the Opera"

• "Sweeney Todd"

 

"Wicked" was splendidly gorgeous, enormously moving, and my personal favorite. I think I will go see it one more time while it finishes its San Francisco run. (Did you know it originated there and turned into a worldwide phenomenon?)

 

I'm looking forward to checking out "Peter Pan", "Billy Elliott", "9 to 5" and "The Color Purple" within this next year.
