Hi guess I have to introduce myself.

 

My name is Ester and I´m 31 years old (my b-day today yay) from Iceland.

 

I have been a member since 2005 but haven't really written anything here until maybe 3 weeks ago.

 

I first saw Céline on TV, Eurovision 1988 and loved her.

 

Became a fan after Falling into you album and a die hard fan in 1997 or 1998, not sure. But the song that really made me LOVE Céline was Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore. After that there was no turning back.

 

I saw Céline live in London 1999. First I had tickets to see her in Frankfurt Germany but the concert got cancelled because René got cancer but I was lucky to get tickets to see her in London twice in july 1999.

 

Then I saw her 5 times in 2003. Travelled to Las Vegas in march 2003 to see 3 shows and then again in December to see 2 shows. It was amazing!.

 

For the past 2-3 years I haven´t been able to follow Céline much I´ve got her albums but there hasn´t been 1 single day that I haven´t thought about her.

Now I´m trying to catch up and I´m having fun doing it, lot´s of stuff I haven't seen (but knew about) and it´s great while she´s on vacation

 

The picture in my profile is of me and Céline´smom ( you knew that ) taken on March 28, 2003 by Liette Dion. I had the chance to meet the whole family. Did not talk to the all, but they were so nice! And Céline´s mom is really really nice. Liette and Linda asked her if she would mind having a photo taken with me and there was no problem at all. So nice!!

I´ve met Michel Dion a few time and OMG he´s so nice. He really takes time to talk to fans and yeah just really nice person.

Hey Ester, I haven't seen your intro earlier so it was interestng to read it!

 

I like Iceland, have quite some friends there and hope to visit the country one day.

You have some very talented artists over there - I've seen Emilíana Torrini live last month and she was evn better live than on her albums and was so nice to meet her! Also, Yohanna has a stunning voice - too bad she hasn't won ESC last year, I really hope she'll achieve a lot in showbiz!!

 

Wow, how come you could meet the entire Dion family??!! I've met Maman Dion at one of the shows in Montréal as she was sitting quite close to me and also met Michel Dion in Vienna but meeting the entire family all at once must be super fun! Have you also met Céline??

 

I'm looking forward to meeing you in Vegas next year!!
