Celine Dion did yesterday morning one of her rare public appearances since the end of her tour. Along with her mother, brothers and sisters, she attended the lifting of the first shovelful of earth that will be at the end of 2010, the House of palliative care Adhémar-Dion, in Terrebonne.

 

Wearing a white robe and a blue jacket, Celine Dion arrived at the site of St. Charles Road, on Highway 40, the arm of her husband, René Angélil, and their young son, René Charles.

 

Own clan reunion Dion, laughter, songs and warm hugs are multiplied before the ceremony begins.

 

Funded to the tune of three million by the Foundation Center's health and social services in southern Lanaudière, Maison-Adhémar Dion (whose total investment approaching $ 4 million) will be a palliative care home which has 12 rooms private and that every year some 200 people in the end.

 

Last fall, the project sponsors have agreed with Dion for the family that the house bears the name of the deceased patriarch

 

"I am proud and I hope he hear me," says Thérèse Tanguay-Dion lifting her eyes to heaven. Before accepting, it has been several meetings with children, admetelle, and they all said they would be proud too.”

 

Adhemar Dion, he died in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family, at the end of November 2003.

This is so great for her family! I am so glad she is with her family to do things like this and the cancer walk, it's exactly what she needs And she looks beautiful RC...there are no words to express his cuteness. He's gonna be a li'l heartbreaker one day. So maybe by the end of July early August, we will have a baby!!!!

Poor Celine, she always said she gets sick on her holidays. BTW, it's not holiday in India. It's holiday at the sea side... I think "mer indienne" is an expression, like in "ete indienne".... Maybe a native speaker can help us here.

I really hope she gets rid of that stomach virus and gets pregnant.

I wonder if this little intestinal problem that she has is the same one she always gets when she takes it easy? I've heard of people getting sick when they work to hard, but I've never heard of someone getinig sick when they rest... Just kidding! Good grief but she has been sick a lot since November last year. This break will do her good. Get better Celine!
