I agree with Claudette, Celine probably could care less that she made the list or didn't. I doubt she even pays attention to stuff like that. She can't win em all, if she didn't make it, she didn't make it there's nothing we can do about it.

well, at some point you were right...but as a fan...i would be very happy if celine could make it. Look, celine does not even boast and says, yes, i make it to the list...but me, i am proud to tell other fans that my idol was very powerful...i guess you get my point. it's not about celine anymore....its about uplifting the fans to make them proud of her.

from the sound of what people were saying, they were saying they wanted the list to be changed so she was on it. Hey I'm all for her being on it but why dwell when she's not on it one year? There's always next year

Celine is not there too, i think it is all about lobbing, the fact is there isnt anyone to put Celine in showbizz news, articles etc... Celine dont care, than media dont care about her twice. It is simple.

the chart's been fixed... how can Celine not make it???!!! she has one of the biggest tours in 2008!!!! Last year she was #28.... and now milry cyrus is #29!!!??? and how did Oprah loose her spot to Angie?... so confused...

Forbes people know nothing... I remember they estimated Celine's fortune at some 200 million dollars last year. Celine made more than that just during her stay in Vegas, it must be way over 500 million dollar over all, if not even close to 1 billion. Besides, if they were making this truely based on influence, she would have been high in the top, she's one of the most influencial people in showbiz, every producer, writer, music mogul out there says that all the time...

But she's a non-American that made it bigger than most Americans, so I guess a little bit of jealousy is always part of the game... No one needs a stupid list to know how much of an influence Celine really has all over the world.
