I'm hoping to get my private pilot's license maybe next year when I'm 16, and one day hope to be an airline pilot. Today I flew for 40 minutes in a 4 seater aircraft and it was great!! Quote

A lot of people who wanted to get their private license take out loans for £60,000!! Luckily my parents are helping me pay for them so I should be OK Quote

I started to learn to fly when I was 13, but I wasn't allowed to fly solo until my sixteenth birthday, which took forever to come around! When you've been flying for ten years, the costs add up! Especially with univ fees as well! One of the reasons why I can't afford to move out of my parents' house! It's something I'll never give up, though. I mean, it's such an amazing thing to do - my grandfather was a pilot and used to fly a wood-and-canvas biplane, so I know I have aviation in my blood. Quote

robert sadler Posted June 4, 2009 at 06:09 PM Posted June 4, 2009 at 06:09 PM (edited) Good luck with your flying lessons hope you go for your ppl.I am guessing you are learning to fly at wellsbourne?I work with the airlines not a pilot i work on the ramp at bhx but i do travel a lot a couple of times a year to europe and the usa and of course you must of seen celines globalexpress jet ,very nice just for you information you can track her aircraft from your computer i have not tryed it yet but its apperently both reliable system i also what is known as a sbs box which tracks live aircraft basic a radar with a 250 mile radius on my laptopHave look at the aircraft on the www.airliners.netwww.flytecomm.com www.flightstats.com you may tryed all this but i thought i pass it on to you and the music is an excellant choice i do like the promotional video for air canada and what a find fairly amusing is when the cabin crew attempt to sing with celine,i are they entering britain {canada} got talent?.I think they have got a long way to go. Anyway away from that the main topic is you are learning to fly hope you keep it up and enjoy it up there in the sky.
