Roxette re-uniting again, worldpremiere on the Night of the Proms in Belgium

Yesterday both the Night of the Proms organisation (PSE Belgium) and Roxette annouced on a press conference that the band would be re-united again after 8 years of absence due the illness of Marie. Since the band was scheduled to perform on the Night of the Proms back in 2002 they thought it would be best to re-unite on the same event this year. Roxette will be the headliner of the Night of the Proms, edition 2009 (25th edition) in Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany. Shows will start on October 24 in the Antwerp Sportpaleis.

 

The pressrelease did mention some words of the band:

 

"We are thrilled to finally be able to attend Night of the Proms. It’s gonna be the first time we share a live stage together since 2001 and it certainly feels most exciting to do it in front of the huge Night of the Proms audience. We look forward to performing some of our greatest hits and working together with the big Night of the Proms orchestra, which should fit our music very well.” (Marie & Per)

 

 

Love to see them perform again after all those years, they had some good songs...
