Aww, it's so good to see them. RC's hair is so adorable, I wonder what made him decide he finally wanted a hair cut, lol.

I know the odds weren't in their favor, but I was hoping it would work for them again. Maybe they'll still keep trying.

they cut it because he will be going to school in Florida in September.

I don't think so probably just hold it off for a little while longer. Like maybe instead of June 2010 it'll be fall. Perhaps thats why we have been hearing two different start times. Or hold it off til 2011.

I'm wondering what they mean by complications. Complications before the embryo was implanted, or after...or what!?! It really must be so hard on them all. :confused:

RC hair cut looks really nice it makes him look older and I bet he excited to go to school and have real friends:) As for Celine getting preggers for what I am reading of what Rene is saying that it's not going so well factor that they are both getting older and that he's health is not the best but who knows things might turn around for them but if it's meant to be it's meant to be..

Awwww I hope so much for her to conceive because I want her to be happy!! I'm praying reallll hard in TN for them hehe

I wonder if she would consider a surrogate. Maybe they will swing by NYC since they are so close in Quebec now

Haven't they only tried the one time? Nothing to get discouraged about just yet.

I'm not sure if they've tried at all. They haven't really specified and Rene didn't want to talk about it. I'm thinking it has to do with Celine's age, she was almost 35 when she got pregnant with RC so they took a gamble with that and now eight years later she is 41 and the complications due to her age are even higher.

Maybe they tried and it didn't work... or maybe because of her age her hormone levels weren't right to start the process, or they held off because of René's heart procedure. It could be any number of things... and it isn't anyone's business but theirs, but of course we're concerned. I just hope it works out for them, even if that means no Vegas 2010! Vegas was hard on her anyway. I'll be thinking about her; and whatever happens happens. I'm just greatful for the time i got with her. If it means she is happier not being in show business i'm with her. We all have to retire sometime. All wel can do is hope and pray that things will work out for them. And keep on visiting the home website for updates

Aww that sucks. I was really hoping for better news

I guess complications could mean they haven't tried yet because Rene was sick, but it could also mean a whole bunch of things, anything from Celine having health problems, to the embryos having health problems, or the treatment just didn't work. Anyway I Googled and this came up, if anyone is interested in IVF.

Obviously we won't know what's going on until Celine tells us though, if and when she's ready to do so. Meanwhile, I'm praying for the family.

Oh I soooo hope she gets pregnant! What is the story with that embryo that they had? maybe they havnt tried it yet because of known complications and are waiting for a better time to try it. cause isnt that embryo their last chance? ..... oh how fantastic it would be if a thread popped up here saying ..."Celine is Pregnant" that would make my day...... :baby:

i think her chances of getting pregnant are very low due to her age

i have a feeling it will not happen, and as someone said, she could adopt.

i wish them both the best and if it is meant for her to have a second child, then she will have one, if not, then she has RC to be thankful for

RC will go to school in Florida?!?! I thought they were moving again to Las Vegas?!?!?!
Rene and Celine said he cut his hair to prepare to go to school in Florida so I assume that means they will be living in Florida for the school year. Remember the Vegas isn't rumored to start til the summer of 2010, the school year will be the fall of 2009.

oh, thank you! i didn't check this out. always thought they would life there the whole time since then. although ... why would they build such a beautiful house in florida, if they deceide to live in las vegas ...

and I also wish them all the best. sounds so dramatic, whatever is ment with "health problems". although she said in interviews that if a second child won't happen then it's ment to be. but I can quite imagine how sad she might be if there are complications.

Well René allready did his part :giggle: a few years ago.

But they can only try once every period cycle and she has to have shots before each inv. I know they are difficult and she can get sick while doing the shots.

I know since my friend is going through IVF right now.

I just really hope she gets pregnant soon! The longer they wait, the less chance they have. I suppose they could have a surrogate mother, that's the only other option they have if they want the baby to be theirs... :confused:

I don't think they'd adopt or use a surrogate. Celine says they have RC and are really happy with just him if that's what is meant to be.

I think they're either waiting on results or haven't tried implantation yet for whatever reasons. So all i say is Celine and Rene - i'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you both. Good Luck.

I'm hoping for the best as well. Invitro is probably risky on the body. Who knows what it does-does it cause cancer (Elizabeth Edwards had children via invitro in her 50's or close to it and she had breast cancer that spread)? Of course Celine really wants a child but maybe because of health concerns they won't. Who knows. Whatever happens I wish them the best and we should respect their privacy.
