Foster and Warren back in the game for Celine Dion

The producer and songwriter will write new songs for new Dion album.

 

David Foster and Diane Warren were the golden team for Celine Dion in the nineties. The couple produced and wrote hits like If You Asked Me To and Because You Loved Me. But when Celine Dion came back with from her 2000 break, neither of them was asked to produce and write new songs for Dion. Dion also did not have any major hits after her ship sinking hit My Heart Will Go On from 1998. Reason for Dion's husband and manager René Angelil to approach Foster and Warren again for new hit material.

 

"We're really thrilled about this," the multiple Grammy-winning producer said Tuesday from his management's offices. "I have discovered Celine in a little tent in the middle of nowhere in Canada. She is a pleasure to work with and to be able to produce again for her is an amazing opportunity".

 

David Foster and Diane Warren met Dion last December in Los Angeles and talked about some new songs. "Diane has written a great ballad called 'Let Me Love You', which Celine really liked. We will be bringing the big ballad singer back in the game! We will be recording the new songs next spring."

 

Dion recently ended her word tour in Omaha and is now on a one and half year break. Last spotted in New York, it is said that Dion and her husband René Angelil are trying for a second child. The new album is slated for summer 2010, before Dion heading back to Vegas. The former residency for Celine Dion's "A New Day" show -- a production that ran five years at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Yo ayer por la tarde cuando me conecté y vi el topic nuevo en la seción inglesa me ilusioné mucho, no sé, se me había metido en la cabeza que el 4 de abril era el día de April's Fools... y no el 1...

 

En fin, que me cayó muy mal... tengo que reconocerlo.

 

Por otra parte el artículo que redactó Davey estaba muy bien hecho... precisamente por eso cayeron también muchos en la seción inglesa.

 

Es que lo del año pasado se veía claramente que era una broma, como dice Flaca. Pero este año lo han puesto difícil y la broma era más pesada... porque el final no era feliz.
