I remember sending her record label a letter asking if there was a fan club, and this is what they sent me, from what was going to become the Celine Dion International Fan Club and, later, Team Celine. Anyone on the forum a Fan Club Member back then and went to the annual meeting and met Celine? That was the start of the Team Celine money making paradigm... promise fans fun and interesting things [meeting Celine, c'mon, I'd pay for that!] and then under-deliver and hope that no one remembers the original promises. Imagine how many of us coulda had our cute little silver TC membership cards autographed by Celine!!! We woulda had to fly to Quebec to do it, but that woulda been half the fun! Quote

I think it ended when her career went over the moon after the huge succes of FIY. In a way it's understandable, but it would have been nice to be able to win M&G during the TC tour! ^ She actually did. In the begining, I don't know which sister(s), but Célines sister(s) ran the fanclub in the begining.
