hazard211 Posted March 20, 2009 at 05:18 AM Posted March 20, 2009 at 05:18 AM Celines stage looks VERY different! Still pretty neat though, Cher's pretty amazing too. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c31/aajdd1452/new.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c31/aajdd1452/new4.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c31/aajdd1452/newstage2.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c31/aajdd1452/new22.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c31/aajdd1452/newstage1.jpg Quote http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c31/aajdd1452/Celine-Dion-ps18.jpgPhenomenal Woman
Davey84 Posted March 20, 2009 at 08:02 AM Posted March 20, 2009 at 08:02 AM it looks nice, but where has the LCD screen went to! the setting of this stage, makes it look like a normal concert... nothing like what AND was... nano Posted March 20, 2009 at 08:19 AM Posted March 20, 2009 at 08:19 AM the new stage is good for Celine's next Vegas show...according to Rene it's going to be more like a concert than a show. I love how Cher's band is on stage and not hidden under the stairs. Quote "Today, I’m a person on a path of connecting with my source and understanding that I am on the leading edge of creation.."

Frida Posted March 20, 2009 at 09:22 AM Posted March 20, 2009 at 09:22 AM Sorry, but I think it's ruined.. Quote http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tcc2copy3_zps08f18352.pnghttp://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tccgallery-1.png
smw Posted March 20, 2009 at 03:59 PM Posted March 20, 2009 at 03:59 PM Honestly - the stage looks so normal now. And that's not a good thing. Looks like any stage at a fancy concert venue. It was so new and different with A New Day. Quote
Koolan Posted March 20, 2009 at 04:12 PM Posted March 20, 2009 at 04:12 PM It's nothing special now. They ruined a one of a kind stage. Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Click here to go to the Amazon homepage.

Shamrock_1982 Posted March 20, 2009 at 06:14 PM Posted March 20, 2009 at 06:14 PM (edited) The set looks great...and very different...But the stage doesn't seem as inimate, as the steps are gone and stage looks higher at the front.... For those fans who have been back there since Celine, have they changed or removed any seats at the front of the vip secion seats, and do you think it seems as intimate with the way the stage now is? Also is Celines screen still there and is it fully used for these shows? Just interested to know!!! Id like to see a pic of Bettes show and see how different her set/stage from Chers! Darren. Bellamy Posted March 20, 2009 at 06:30 PM Posted March 20, 2009 at 06:30 PM One thing is more intimate now is I heard many people stand during the show, and they don't care about cameras anymore. hazard211 Posted March 20, 2009 at 07:30 PM Author Posted March 20, 2009 at 07:30 PM (edited) Actually I hear there still just as strict with Cameras and phones. Aparently fans used to throw hats up on stage but they even got rid of that too. My cousin went and she said they were always going up to people who managed to get something in. Im going at the end of May so we will see. I was reading about a meet and greet someone had with Cher and while they were waiting they said that many of the people waiting kept asking about Celine Dion. HA I loved seeing that. There to see Cher but only care about Celine. Edited March 20, 2009 at 07:33 PM by hazard211 Quote http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c31/aajdd1452/Celine-Dion-ps18.jpgPhenomenal Woman
Lymon Posted March 20, 2009 at 08:46 PM Posted March 20, 2009 at 08:46 PM While I hate Cher. the stage looks better and it'll be better for Celine! I know the A New Day stage was new and different, but it was a killer for Celine and the dancers. Do we really want her to go through that again? Quote http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf4r5f.png

Del Posted March 20, 2009 at 09:55 PM Posted March 20, 2009 at 09:55 PM It's nothing special now. They ruined a one of a kind stage. I have to agree that they ruined the stage. I wish when they made it flat they should have kept it closer to the same size instead of adding all those seats. Quote Instagram: @delphis78
Claudette Posted March 21, 2009 at 04:12 PM Posted March 21, 2009 at 04:12 PM I like it... I don't know, I thought that the AND stage was too big. It sometimes felt like Celine kind of got lost and you almost had to search for her among the dancers.... O well, each to its own. I guess the world would be pretty boring if everybody liked the same things... Quote http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
celinerific Posted March 23, 2009 at 11:40 PM Posted March 23, 2009 at 11:40 PM Oh God it's hideous. Just kidding lol. It's not bad. I prefer the AND stage better - was more theatrical and exciting. This is more classic. Quote http://i58.tinypic.com/2qbub9c.png @ErikaTran | Insta: aireexwp | erikatran.com

celinefanonline Posted March 24, 2009 at 02:58 AM Posted March 24, 2009 at 02:58 AM it's strange that they both Cher and Bette don't use the LED screen that much...it's a little like waste though loland the stage is pretty different to the AND one.. althought the shape is pretty much the same.. but .. i believe they took out all the stairs.... (the ones on the sides, and also the stairs use for TPOL.. and yes the one was on auction)but it would be interesting to see how the future new show would be like Quote Courage don't you dare fail me now!
celinesounds Posted March 24, 2009 at 03:08 AM Posted March 24, 2009 at 03:08 AM I guess they will change the stage again for Celine Quote #FREEJAVITO
CelineFanInSoCal Posted March 25, 2009 at 05:45 AM Posted March 25, 2009 at 05:45 AM as far as I know, just about all the added stuff you see it totally movable, as all three artists have different stage setups... Cher's is different than Bette's and hers is different than Elton's... I think now it's an open, flat stage, with the LED still at the back, and the front just redesigned a little. here's Bette's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28EezgCd0Xs I cant find any new clips of Elton's stage layout... he uses the same "floating" bandstands for his band, towards the rear of the stage and he's sat towards the front on a large floating star that lights up and has his big red piano on it. there's no way the star/piano would even get through the side stage exits with cher's stuff out there. dont worry kiddies... the stage is adaptable and ever artist has to have a little say as to what goes in to the general stage [under stage entrances, staircases, etc] but basically when no one's performing, it's a large, flat stage with the screen at the back. Melody Posted March 26, 2009 at 09:39 PM Posted March 26, 2009 at 09:39 PM Sorry, but I think it's ruined.. I think so too, It looks just like any other concert. And they could have done much more with it. Quote Where words fail music speaks.Où les mots échouent la musique parle
Nmj Posted March 26, 2009 at 10:06 PM Posted March 26, 2009 at 10:06 PM I wish they would have added some treadmills, cat walk part for the fans to get close and more affects Quote
