I looked at the Alma BB in Rouge Fauviste yesterday, it was really cute (and bigger than I thought it was)

Found this pic from an event at LV last week, the bags on display were almost exactly the same yesteday. Anyway, you can spot the BB in the back

So I've discovered a J.Crew factory store in my town, and once a month they have a warehouse sale. I've gone to both over the past few months, and I've done the best shopping of my life. Here's some of what I've gotten (listed with retail prices, and what I payed):

 

This suit (pants and jacket) retails for $370, I got it for $40

 

This linen suit (pants and jacket) retails for $390, I got the three button version in navy for $30

 

These linen khakis retail for $130, I got them for $10

 

These wool trousers retail for $120, I got them for $10

 

This cashmere hoodie retails for $250, I got mine (a version without the draw string) for $20

 

This cashmere cardigan retails for $225, I got mine (in gray with black trim) for $20

 

I got these $80 shorts for $10, and this button down shirt (around $60) in white, light green, and dark green, for $8 each

 

Finally, this $80 shirt for $8

 

Oh, and to top it all off a $750 cashmere, herringbone blazer, which I cannot find a picture of, for $20

 

PS I also got these sunglasses (not from J.Crew)

I don't think they will actually make money for the sale prices. If they keep those stock longer, they will pay more for storage.... That's why they give such sales price.

Thanks, yeah they certainly aren't making money. These are all samples from over the past few years. I think at this point they've all been written off. Part of the process is finding things that aren't stained with Sharpie "SAMPLE."

 

By the way (just to confirm to everyone who wasn't already jealous) I subtracted everything I payed (about $240) from everything's retail (including all the items I didn't list here - about $2,500) to figure out I saved around $2,260!!!!

On my vacation there was this store which just started a 75% sale! I got a Replay jumper, a G-Star summer jacket and a Cast Iron winter jumper for only 79 euros... I saved 239 euros!

It's been confirmed that Alber Elbaz is the new guest designer for H&M! He got help from Lucas Ossendrijver. The collection will be revealed on November 2nd.
