This is somewhat of a sad reveal... The day after my birthday I found a pair of Jimmy Choos on ebay for $24 (yes, $24! They retailed for $495 in 2005). They were used and dirty, but I figured I could clean them up a little and use & abuse them a bit more without being careful... Well, I got them a few hours ago and they're a tad too narrow :( I've cleaned the right shoe (well, left in the picture) and they're becoming really nice... I'm so sad they'll have to find another owner..

Too bad they're small! But I agree, you should be able to make some money with all the cleaning you've done

Yeah me too, it could just take some time to find a buyer

Please give me your tips of cleaning leather goods.

I'm afraid I don't have any... I used baby wipes on these, and as you can see that worked miracles, and I just add some leather conditioner after that...

I use baby wipes for old vachetta as well, but that can only remove the most recent dirt (like colour transfer etc) and then leather conditioner... I got some mr clean magic eraser last week that I've been trying, but it's really really easy to ruin the leather...

wow Frida! So sorry they don't fit! Will stretching them still be too narrow?

Gorgeous! Too bad they don't fit... you might be able to buy another pair with the profit you make off of those though.

You cleaned them up so nicely! Well done! Can't believe $24 and they look THAT good afterwards!

What size are they, Frida? I might be able to find a buyer for you, my girlfriends love adding to their shoe collection :P

Lindsey: I know, I think you understand why I had to buy them? :P I mean twenty. Four. Freaking. Dollars for Jimmy choo!

It's an Italian 41 which is an american 11, but they run VERY small and narrow so I think they would fit a 9½-10 the best (but that's just a guess).

Oh yes ma'am- that's less money than eating out once! For Jimmy Choo!! dah.

I got a late birthday present from my mother today. She was supposed to wrap it nicely but never got around to doing so. It's a cameo necklace that belonged to my grandmother, given to my mom when she got married, and today my mom gave it to me. "It looks so much better on you than it will ever do on me, and it makes me so happy to see you wear it" (I steal it every now and then ;) ). It might not look like much, but it means a whole, whole lot to me...
