I prefer last year's entry :whistling:

Gotta love El chiki chiki!

Antwerp ~ Paris ~ Dublin ~ Amsterdam ~ Berlim ~ Milan ~ Arras

Some people need no slogans or presentations.

And that was a wrap, folks!

Anyone voting for Turkey? B)

Hadise Açıkgöz will respresent Turkey, she's a Belgian with Turkish roots.

Not to bad actually, but it could have been better though...

Well I agree that the contest is getting worse in time... it's been a long time since any decent song won or at least scored really high.

However, I like this years' Polish contribution to the contest:

The girl has a real good voice, and she looks good ;) I also love the lyrics. But she would have to score high in the semi-finals to get to the final part, so I hope you guys will support us ;D

Ce n'est qu'en te croisant

Que j'ai su, j'ai compris...

Elle

Est mon ideal

La plus grande etoile

Et je veux ressembler

A son portrait fidele...

Celine pour toujours. <3

No, I don't really think it's anything special, either... But I don't think it's bad, though. :)

But I think it was better than "Sindssyg" ("Insane" )

I really liked "Underneath my skin" - Christina Undhjem. Just too bad she didn't sing very well... :ermm:

I think that Celine was the only good Eurovision song. Period.

Eehhh??

It's been good songs after 1988

Ohh btw: I looooooove the Norwegian song this year!!!

It's called Farytale :D

Hey,

Anyone who wants to "play" eurovision and give out points like a jury come to this site:

www.concourseurovision.webs.com

You can choose any European country (only Germany and Sweden are taken) and select a song to represent that country. Then you listen to the other songs, (which is a great opportunity to find new songs and artists from all over Europe) and then you can play jury and give out your votes just like in the real Eurovision Song Contest.

It would be nice to have some Celine-like music in my contest. So I hope you join in great numbers `*lol*

Gotta love El chiki chiki!

Did you know that "El Chiki Chiki" was sort of a TV joke project created by a Spanish TV presenter in collaboration with a comedian actor who starred in his late night show and later as the singer who sang "El Chiki Chiki" on the ESC; and with the goal of outsmarting TVE (the Spanish Public TV Channel) on organising a MySpace contest for singers to go to the festival??

Now, I have to breathe... :giggle:

Again... Chikilicuatre the supossed singer was actually an actor! :D

Could you imagine what could've been happened if we had won? I really can't. :sofunny:

Ohhh... "las islas afortunadas"... You lucky girl!

Yeah, same here in the Peninsula! We laughed a lot!

But I still don't get it... it was a critic for what the ESC has become through the recent years... but the thing is... do you think it helped? I guess it did everything but help... :giggle:

well i think that it doesn't fit to eurovision

Actually, I think it does. If you listen to the chorus it's very old-eurovision-style. :)
