Lymon Posted February 24, 2009 at 09:01 PM Posted February 24, 2009 at 09:01 PM Alright, so before Sunday I had Windows 8.5. Sunday I decided to update to Windows Live 9. When I did that, it wouldn't let me sign in, errors kept happening. So I went to re-install Windows Live 8.5. When i did that, it said Windows Live 9 was still installed. I went to delete it in Add/Remove programs. There was no specific "Windows Live", there was something like "Msn! Live", so I deleted that and "Windows Sign-In Assistant". When I did that, it still said it was installed. So I went to Start/Programs, and deleted it off the list. After that it still says it's installed, and I can't find it on my computer. What's the problem? Any help is appreciated . Quote http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf4r5f.png

Edwin Posted February 24, 2009 at 09:21 PM Posted February 24, 2009 at 09:21 PM I found this but it's for XP and so it won't work on my machine for me to try:1) Click on Start-> Run and then paste: RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove And if that doesn't work try the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility:http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9...1bd/msicuu2.exe Quote
