The book that he's talking about is interesting... it talk about like vs dislike, what makes us like certain things and why some things are considered widely good, accepted in pop culture or mocked by the mainstream. I read a little bit of it online not too long ago, and the author starts by saying that they don't like Celine, but then dives into Celine as a person, artist, culture icon, etc., discovers why so many people like Celine and kinda ends by accepting that Celine is a good person, is talented, etc... James is not talking specifically about Celine, but rather something he's trying to do in his spare time by reading a book that takes a look at our culture and society... Quote
