Maman Dion's documentary DVD, Rene's biography book

i saw on a blogsite about celine the video of the Maman Dion dvd...

it looked cool, some brothers and sisters talking, and celine looked :wub:

Celine's hair short is lovely! - it was filmed though I believe, before the tour...that is why her hair is darker and shorter.

Wait a sec, does this mean it's only grown that much since she was blonde?? Why would she cut it if it means having extensions?

 

 

No, her own hair has grown longer, she's used extensions, then been trimmed, grown longer, then used extensions, then been trimmed.

 

If you watch closely when she does her makeup in the A New Day... DVD behind the scenes footage, she was wearing extensions that actually get sewn in to her natural hair. You can see small little knots of hair near her scalp when she has her hair pulled back. These are more permanent extensions, but as her natural hair grew out, she'd have to get the extensions re-done, and sewn in closer to her roots.

 

You can also see these types of extensions in her hair during the Contre Nature, too.

 

These type of extensions can take a huge toll on your own natural hair, especially if you're also doing some major styling like Celine would do for her shows. It makes your natural hair thin, brittle and more prone to breaking. Considering Celine wore these types of extensions for so long, her own hair kinda went kapoot and she started wearing either clip-in extension or a fall during the TC tour.

 

Clip in extensions snap in to your natural hair with a small comb and snap, to keep em in place, and most folks wear them under their natural hair.

 

A fall is a small wig that is worn on the crown of one's head, giving the illusion of longer, fuller hair. It can be secured pretty well if done by a professional, and I tend to think that this is what Celine was wearing during the tour. There of photos of her out there, like from Celine sur les plaines, that show her looking down, and you can see different color roots/scalp area in the photos. [Check out the Falling Into You music video... she puts on on during this vid]

 

Now that she's not touring and doesn't have to keep up "the look", she's rocking her natural hair and it looks glorious! im sure her hair/scalp is thanking her!

I think Anne-Marie's kids look alike, Patrick's kids look alike and I think RC resembles his sister, more than his brothers. He's so sweet with his missing teeth in the front They're all so cute! Rene has amazing genes

There are a few more, that we've already seen: one from his first photoshoot, when we all first saw him, in Hello mag, if I remember corectly, one from his baptism, one with Celine and Rene holding him into the Staley Cup, which is on A New Day Has Come album insert, and one with the 3 of them and a horse. I've only scanned the ones I've never seen before.

That's the silliest thing. It's not photoshoped, just a little family fun at the pool. RC looks bigger because he is bigger, he's the oldest one.

Thanks, you think so? From the pics ages ago it looks okay but in the vid I think it is way too big for her face. Dunno its so big to her thin frame of a face.
