In a news about AEG, one of the world's leading providers of live entertainment, sport events and facilities, managing "A New Day..." show:

 

AEG also operates the Colosseum at Caesars Palace were Celine Dion

        plays 40 weeks per year.  Since its launch, the show has sold every

        ticket to every performance.  If the show were a movie, it would be

        the fifth highest grossing movie of all time

but how can that be true because celine did not sell out each and every show. as of may 11 she sold out 294 out of 351.

maybe the definition from AEG is different. cause even when Celine didn't sell out, she still sell out 95% tickets at least. so I think it can be defined as sell out every night too. it's about $540,000 every night. 540,000 x 350 = 189,000,000 USD in USA. I'm not sure if it can be the fifth highest grossing movie of all time in USA market.

Hearing things like this always makes me happy. So many people try and talk bad about Celine and yet she still manages to sell out (or close to it) every night. She must not be all that bad if 4000+ people from all over the world are willing to pay good money to see her night after night.
