Now it is decided that the Spice Girls are to make a comeback. The girls are going to head out on a world tour with all the original members, including Ginger Spice, Geri Halliwell. Scary Spice, Melanie Brown, gave the news to GMTV last night. In addition to the tour, Spice Girls are to release a ‘Best of' album. The tour is also said to ensure the girls a large paycheck. The Spice Girls are in talks to perform together for the first time since 1998 for the rumoured Live Aid II charity concert in London in July, Reuters reports. "We are in discussions with the Spice Girls to perform at Live Aid II if it happens," a Band Aid spokesman told Reuters. Charity Band Aid is hoping the once chart-topping group could help to repeat the success of the 1985 Live Aid Concert which raised over $100 million dollars. Their hopes however do not rest solely on these five girls. "We are talking to every act that ever picked up a guitar or sang into a microphone," the spokesman said to the news agency. According to reports, if reunited, all five original members of the female singing group will participate. Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell, Emma "Baby Spice" Bunton, Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown, Melanie "Sporty Spice" Chisholm and Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham have not performed all together since 1998 when Halliwell left the group to pursue solo interests. The group finally called it quits in 2001. The British quintet became famous in the late 90's with nine number one hit singles and were best known for their spicy nicknames and their group motto "Girl Power!". An official group reunion is said to have been in the works for months. I used to be a fan of theirs.The only thing I don't like about Spice Girls is that you don't get REAl good vocals from their songs. They don't have a voice like Celine has, which can hit high notes or do something that gives you that unbelivable feeling, you know!But I looooove how crazy they are! They have fun and they make us have fun with them. Remember the video clip for "Wannabe"? It was so crazy! One of my favorite video clips.I do believe they could be a success again.
