I consider myself an audiopile and I'm not really an appleoid, so currently I'm using Sony A829 plus EX-700 when I'm on road, and when at home a dedicated SACD player, an amp and beyerdynamic DT880 will make my ears feel like in heaven Pity that Sony hasn't released all Celine's albums in SACD format...... I sleep faster on bus, subway, flight when I'm listening to music. BTW, I don't like SONY Walkman anymore. I think the brand was completely ruined by SONY itself. Black Kitten Posted January 6, 2009 at 07:15 AM Posted January 6, 2009 at 07:15 AM in my room, i am using a Pioneer VS200 compact mini component + an amp. the sound quality is absolutely fantastic, especially for electronica albums. it actually sounds crappy without an amp. and i still have my Sony Walkman and Discman with me, which my mom bought awhile back, but i rarely use them now as my iPod is always with me wherever i go (except school). i do wear earbuds, but not when i'm sleeping. it kinda tickles me actually. and here in the Philippines, iPod probably is the most abundant PMP.
