As we just started a new year, I think it would be great to have more positive posts on the forum. After all, we all love Céline Dion, who is about the most optimistic artist I know! So my question is:What made you feel grateful today? After answering this simple question, I know you'll feel better about your life. I'll begin:I'm grateful for being blessed with so many lovely friends who wished me a happy new year today! Jacqui Posted January 2, 2009 at 11:16 AM Posted January 2, 2009 at 11:16 AM I feel grateful that 2008 was actually a really good year for me, and I have hope that maybe 2009 will be as well.I'm thankful for my family- having my Grandpa out of hospital and living with us, getting the chance to know him better. Having my Mum home more often now that he's not in hospital. Peace with my Dad's side of the family, after a lot of drama.My friends- I've had the same best friends since I was 13, and even though we finished high school 4 years ago and now we live in different places, and some of the girls have babies and fiances, we still make the effort to get together, and when we do it's like something never changed.My pets...you probably know I'm animal crazy by now, but these little dudes are like my children. They just do the funniest things and have the most unconditional love. I'm thankful that Missy is learning not to poop on me.Music- artists- people who inspire me every day. Celine- some days she just makes everything seem worth it. I love everything about her.I'm thankful for God and that we can trust and have faith.I'm also thankful that it's Summer here, that I finished work early today, that tomorrow is Saturday... Ok, that was a big answer, but the question didn't seem so simple to me. I think too much. Quote
