I went out to buy the CD and noticed "Aun Existe Amore". I listened to it and fell in love with it. A year later, I learned that song was originally one of her earlier French songs, but still I loved the Spanish version better. As I went on to buy other CD's I noticed that she'd done other Spanish songs in the past ("Amar Haciendo el Amor", "Sol Altra Vez"), and I began thinking that it would be really awesome if she did an entire album in Spanish songs. If she were to do this, the album would probably sell very well, and she would expand her audience. Does anyone else think that this would be a great idea? Quote

Celine's Spanish songs are so popular here on the Spanish pop/romatic radio stations. I know a lot of fans.. but they don't speak English and they would love to listen to Celine AND understand her. I've never studied it but, as Mozinha said, it's pretty similar to Portuguese when we talk about understanding the language, and sometimes it's easier to get closer to our feelings when the language is similar to ours, but I think she speaks right to my heart when she sings in English or even in French that I don't understand so much...I'd buy her Spanish album for sure, but I don't think it'd be one of my favorites...
