I didn't even know this thread existed. I'm not a fan, and don't plan to ever be, sorry.

 

I like some of her songs, never fully listened to a whole album or anything like that. I like her voice, I think she's much more talented than most of new artists. That being said, I'm disappointed with her last album.

I LOOOVE The Fame. It is a brilliant album and truely a master piece. I did like Monsterball, it was in the line The Fame. Born this Way was so/so... too many fillers and Art Pop, I really didn't like... the "ART" part surpassed the actual music.

 

She is a good vocalist, she can make great songs, but she has to stop the whole artsy fartsy act.

I just went to the artpop ball this summer and it was fantastic! like a big party! but have to say, when Gaga appeared on stage I didn't feel the excitement I felt when I saw Celine appear on stage during her Taking Chances tour in México.

 

Celine is my favorite singer of all time, she's my number 1, Gaga is my number 2...

About Artpop, I think is my favorite album, then The Fame Monster. The Fame is good, but I think it was just the way she could get into the pop industry, you can hear her voice is too different than it really is... Born this way is kind of dark...

 

And she has done an entire jazz album with Tonny Bennet! I already bought the album and listened to every song, and didn't like it at all. Gaga's vocals are good, but some songs are too boring for me... even the Nature Boy version. I loved Celine's version, but Gaga's version is just to.. zzzZZZZ

I had high hopes for Bang Bang, and even though it's good, I found that I still like Cher's version better.

u know when i was watching oscar and the presenter announced her name i was like oh really? i know she can sing but sound of music???

then when she started to sing from the first note i was like she actually can sing in that kind of sound! was pretty surprised and I did get a bit emotional towards the end, but when Julie Andrews came out I was like ...... god.....

Lady Gaga actually trained her voice for half year just for this!!!

I'm Gaga's fan, and I knew she was performing at the oscars, but I didn't know what she was about to sing... it was a huuuuuuuuuge surprise for me!

Wow..i am shocked but do not underestimate her. Some people do. She is no one trick pony. She has it all and above all a stunning voice. She really can sing it all. And this performance was pure perfection!

My TV and also YouTube had her mouth way off synch with the sound. Not the case for Coldplay.

Christina proved a couple years ago you can go against the preference of lipping the anthem so I have no doubt gaga did the same.

I'm a fan of Lady Gaga but I never imagined she would ever sing a song like this one! The whole album, in my opinion, is very intense.

for the songs there's at least 2 songs that she sound a bit like Mariah though, i think it's the way she sang them but of course it's alot better vocal than MC

Her Vegas show looks absolutely terrible.

 

I saw her in 2010 and was extremely disappointed even then. I really liked her at the time, but her show looked like a (pale) carbon copy of a Madonna show I had seen befire (she basically stole certain parts).

 

As for her current Vegas show, it's stale even compared to her own old shows.

Still comparing it to Madonna now would border on blasphemy. Gaga only wishes she'd have the professionalism, discipline and coherent vision...

 

I wouldn't even mind as much if at least she wouldn't always pretend to 'revolutionize' everything.
